The first time they met, they had accidentally bumped into each other with their shopping carts at the grocery store. Apologies were exchanged, and their days had continued as normal.
The second time they met, (person A) had been walking their dog while (person B) was jogging around the park. They both smiled at the other in passing, familiarity in their eyes.
The nth time they met, (person A) finally started a conversation with (Person B). They'd been on (Person A) mind since the very first encounter. It was time they took the first step.
"We don't really know each other, but we keep running into each other and I can't stop thinking about. Would you like to get dinner with me sometime?"
"You can pick me up on Saturday at 5. Here's my number. Don't be late." (Person A) watches as they walked away, wondering how long they'd had that paper in their pocket for, just waiting for (person A) to finally make their move.

Hiiiiii, I know it's been a while, and that this is not Why Don't We, but the motivation to write had finally come back to me. I've grown out of the Why Don't We fandom and want to try writing other stuff, although I do still love Why Don't We very much. This is my first attempt at a one-shot . Right now the characters do not have names and this isn't about any fandom in particular, but I would love your opinions on it. If you have any character you think fit well with the story, please let me know in the comments, thank you very much <3
