CHAPTER 4

"Which one?" He asked, I sighed and said,

"The second one. I agree with what you suggested. Kailan ako magsisimulang kumuha ng handouts?" Tanong ko. "Nasa'n ang mga dapat kong gawin?" Tanong kong muli. They both looked at each other like they were talking through their eyes.

"Kyla, may dalaw ka." Bungad ni Kenneth sa pintuan ng opisina ko.

"Para namang nakakulong ako." I smiled weakly. "Uhm, pwede mo na lang ba silang papasukin dito?" I asked, he nodded and left.

Nagpatuloy ako sa ginagawa ko. Biglang bumukas ang pinto at kumalabog ito. I looked at who it was and it was Sam, Matthew, and Ethan. I smiled as I saw them.

"Oh, hey, guys--"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" Napatakip ako ng tenga ng biglang tumili si Sam. Mula sa pinto, nakita ko ang ilang mga workers na napatingin sa gawi namin. I smiled at them awkwardly and looked at Sam.

"What the hell? What do you guys need?" Sambit ko, Matthew closed the door as they walked closer to me.

"It got approved!" Ethan exclaimed. I looked at them in confusion, but as the seconds go by, it started hitting me.

"No way." I whispered. "Noooo waaaay." Mahabang sabi ko habang tumatayo.

"Yeeeeeees way." They all said.

"Nooooo." I said with a smile habang papalapit sa kanila. I extended my arms and said again "Noooooo."

"Yeeeeees." They all said while extending their arms.

"Yeeeeesss!!!!" We all said together and hugged each other. Employees started to stare at us like we're some kind of idiots.

"So.. uh... What now?" Sam asked out of nowhere. "Are we gonna start to write our own songs?"

"No." I said. "Let's be a cover band for 5 years. Then after that, let's start to do our own music and songs." Tumango sila sa sinabi ko.

"Pwede pwede. By the way, Kyla. Bakit ang aga mo palang nag-out sa school? Hinanap ka namin pero sabi ng prof niyo may sumundo sayo." Matthew stated. I gulped before looking at them.

"Go ahead. There's nothing we don't know about your family." Ethan said.

"Uh.. I am not coming to school anymore. Hindi naman sa sinasabi kong hindi na ako mag-aaral.. I just need to work in this company since I'm hired as a secretary. And.. the boss of this company is the owner of our school. Siya na raw ang bahala sa pag-aaral ko." I said. They all looked at each other, then they looked back at me.

"That's suspicious." Ethan stated.

"That's weird." Matthew said.

"Girl, what's the tea?" Sam asked.

I gulped again before opening my mouth but nothing came out.

"It's suspicious that he hired you as his secretary knowing that you're just a college student." Ethan stated.

"And it's weird that he'll handle your studies just because you're his secretary." Matthew said.

"So... What's the tea?" Sam asked again. "Come on, girl, the kettle is full. Spit it out." I rolled my eyes at them and said.

"We're married."

"WHAT?!"
