(Dipper pov)

I sit outside Bill's house on his front steps waiting for him to come back home. He went to the bank to try and get a loan so we can restart everything. I stand up once I see him but I can already guess from the face that he's making that it isn't good news of any kind.

"They said no, didn't they?"

"Oh they did worse than that. They literally laughed me right out of the bank." He sighs as he runs his hand through his hair. "I'm sorry, Dipper, I know that we both really had our hopes up about getting this thing started again."

"It's not over yet."

"What do you mean? We have no money and the building is nothing but ashes anymore. We are basically fucked."

"....I have some money still."

"Bullshit you do."

"I owned 10% of everything. I used some of medicine for my sister and for bills like rent and food but I mostly put it away as a savings. At the time it was in case Mabel had a turn for the worse."

"No, no way. I can not ask you to blow all your money on my idea."

"You're not asking me, I'm giving it to you willingly. I don't need it and if you don't use it then it's probably just gonna sit there forever. Come on, don't be reasonable now."

He smiles slightly as he holds my hand gently and pulls me closer to him. "You are stubborn as a damn mule."

"Where do you think I learned that from?"

"Seems I'm rubbing off on you after all. Come on, let's get this show of ours on the road."

..............................................

I stand in my dressing room as I finish buttoning my shirt, feeling Bill's arms snake themselves around my waist. "You sure you're ready for this?"

"Of course I am. I've been training for it. I'm more than ready."

"Even with this?" He gently moves my bangs out of my face and I look at my reflection at the burn scars extending from my burn scar.

"I admit that only seeing out of one eye has indeed made things a lot more difficult, but I've learned to adapt to it. I'm more ready now than I ever have been."

He softly kisses my cheek making me blush slightly. "That's my Pinetree. I'll go warm up the crowd while you and everyone else get into position."

He leaves and I finish getting ready before I head up to an elevated platform, the trapezee resting nearby. I grab it with one hand before looking down at Bill, one spotlight on him in the center of the room.

"Ladies and gents, this is the moment you've waited for (whoa)
Been searching in the dark, your sweat soaking through the floor (whoa)
And buried in your bones there's an ache that you can't ignore
Taking your breath, stealing your mind
And all that was real is left behind

Don't fight it, it's coming for you, running at ya
It's only this moment, don't care what comes after
Your fever dream, can't you see it getting closer
Just surrender 'cause you feel the feeling taking over
It's fire, it's freedom, it's flooding open
It's a preacher in the pulpit and your blind devotion
There's something breaking at the brick of every wall, it's holding
All that you know
So tell me, do you wanna go?" The others run into the room from different enterances and do their own tricks around Bill as I swing over the crowds on the trapezee.

"Where it's covered in all the colored lights
Where the runaways are running the night
Impossible comes true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show
We light it up, we won't come down
And the sun can't stop us now
Watching it come true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show

colossal we come these renegades in the ring
(Whoa) where the lost get found in the crown of the circus king

Don't fight it, it's coming for you, running at ya
It's only this moment, don't care what comes after
It's blinding, outshining anything that you know
Just surrender 'cause you're calling and you wanna go

Where it's covered in all the colored lights
Where the runaways are running the night
Impossible comes true, intoxicating you
Oh, this is the greatest show
We light it up, we won't come down
And the sun can't stop us now
Watching it come true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show

t's everything you ever want
It's everything you ever need
And it's here right in front of you
This is where you wanna be (this is where you wanna be)
It's everything you ever want
It's everything you ever need
And it's here right in front of you
This is where you wanna be
This is where you wanna be"

I let go of the trapezee, feeling my body free falling through the air before my hand grabs a curtain that was on the side of the room and ride it down most of the way before letting go and getting caught by Bill. He sets me on my feet and grabs my hands, a wide smile on my lips as he spins me around with him.

"When it's covered in all the colored lights
Where the runaways are running the night
Impossible comes true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show
We light it up, we won't come down
And the sun can't stop us now
Watching it come true, it's taking over you
This is the greatest show
When it's covered in all the colored lights
Where the runaways are running the night
Impossible comes true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show
We light it up, we won't come down
And the walls can't stop us now
I'm watching it come true, it's taking over you
Oh, this is the greatest show

Cause everything you want is right in front of you
And you see the impossible is coming true
And the walls can't stop us (now) now, yeah

This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show (oh)
(This is the greatest show)
This is the greatest show (oh)
This is the greatest show"

He dips me down and smirks slightly as his lips softly connect with mine.
