"That's enough Soren. I'll have some men go out and look for her. She couldn't have gotten far anyway."

"What if she didn't even go to classes? What if she left once we left her Ren? This is so our fault. We're sorry Javan."

"It's not your fault. Not like she would of let you two stop her anyway."

I stood there watching them talk back and forth while the lady st the front desk was looking at me.

"Excuse me Mr.Rivera..."

"Yes?"

Javan sighed at the poor old lady.

"Have you looked behind you three?"

She asks them as she smiles at me. I offer her a small smile back. Javan, Ren and Mateo all turn and see me. Ren and Mateo look so relieved. Javan looks like he wants to kill me. Honestly I want to kill myself too.

"Where were you? Mat and I were looking for you everywhere."

"We called Javan cause we thought you may have gone home."

"Hah, I wish I'd gone home. I'd be happier then I here. I just went for a walk outside the school. I walked to a corner store and got myself some lunch. Plus I know hoe to defend myself so you don't need to worry about me. I'm not a helpless little girl."

Javan sighed.

"You two just go finish your school day. Victoria if you're going to leave the school grounds please tell one of your brothers or cousins next time."

"Okay...Sorry."

I mumbled as I looked down at my feet. Ren and Mateo already walked away.

"It's okay, I just don't need this happening again. Those two called me while I was in the middle of some important business. Now go to class. I'll see you tonight."

I walked away from Javan feeling odd. Why was he so calm about that? Oh well at least it didn't end up like earlier this week. I finished classes with no more problems. I met two nice girls, Lyla and Rose, who want to be my friends. Unfortunately for them I don't do friends, except for Grayson. The last friend I had was before Gray. I miss her...She killed herself...She was the only person I had at the assassin school. April...She was like an angel.

"Hey, Tori? We're home. You spaced out."

Scout and Kit were on either side of me in the car. I look at the two of them before speaking.

"Sorry, just a long day."

I give them a small smile. We all head inside and to our bedrooms. I pulled out the homework I still needed to finish and worked on it for an hour before putting it away and showering. It stung, but that's what I get for hating myself and everything around me currently.

Dinner

"Ha saltato? Quando? Perché non mi avete chiamato? O Rett?"
(She skipped? When? Why didn't you two call me? Or Rett?)

My uncle, my older cousins, and my brothers were all arguing in Italian at dinner. And all because of me.

"Perché io sono il suo tutore legale. E non ha saltato nessuna lezione, solo il pranzo."
(Because I am her legal guardian. And she didn't miss any classes, only lunch.)
