Chapter 11: Truths and Lies

'Got her.'

Lily sighs then sits on a boulder by the waterfall.

"Fine you win. I'll tell you."

I sit on the ground facing her as she starts her story.

"It was a little over a year ago. Orochimaru had sent me to go get Shinnou since you were busy training. When I got there he offered me to join him, but I declined. He got extremely mad and attacked me saying. 'If I can't have you, then no one can!' "

"So what did you do?"

"The obvious. I fought back, knocked him out cold. I carried him back to Orochimaru. I set him down and told Kabuto what happened. When Kabuto left to go tell Orochimaru, Sinnou came running at me and started fighting me again. He managed to cut my face with his poison dipped kunnai."

"What kind of poison?"

"It keeps medical ninjas from healing to wounds that it makes. Luckily for me I just got a scratch."

'I remember that, she said that she fell and didn't feel like healing it since it was only a small scratch. Guess not'

"After that, he yelled that he hates me and never wants to see my face again then left. And that's the story."

Lily finishes then stands up.

"That's the reason?"

"Yeah... Stupid right?"

I stand up.

"Yeah it is."

I say then I start feeling really tired.

"Hey, Lily."

"Yeah, what is it?"

"I'm tired, so I'm gonna go to bed. You're free for the night."

I smirk and Lily laughs.

"Yeah I wish. I was told to report to Orochimaru when you go to sleep. 'Cause, you know, I'm a spy and all."

She smirks.

"Yeah, yeah have fun with that. I going to our room now."

I turn and start walking down the hall.

"What should I tell him?"

"Anything you want. Just not the truth."

I tell her, still walking while waving my right hand in the air.

"Alright, got it."

I stop and turn around.

"Oh, Lily. One last thing. It's gonna be soon."

Lily smiles.

"Got it."

I smile back then I turn around and started walking to the hideout.
'Soon you'll be free. Just you wait, Lily. I'll kill Orochimaru and get you out of here..'

(Lily's P.O.V)

'Hmm, what should I tell Orochimaru?'

I was walking down a hall of the hideout, going to Orochimaru's room. Trying to think of a story about Sasuke to tell him.

'Wait, I've got it! Yeah he'll buy this one.'

I smirk to myself, but I drop it as I knock on Orochimaru's door.

"Enter.."

I hear Kabuto say from the other side. I open the door and walk in. Orochimaru was laying in his bed again.

'He's getting weaker and weaker every day. Good.'

"Why aren't you with Sasuke, Lily?"

Kabuto asks while messing with his glasses.

"He said that he was tired, so he went to sleep. I'm reporting like you told me to."

"Very well. Did you find out what he's up to?"

Orochimaru asks and I nod.

"Yeah, it was easy. He wants us to train him harder because he believes that he's still nowhere near Itachi's level."

"Is that all?"

They both ask at the same time.

"W-what are you talking about!?"

I ask while blushing.

'He we go. I hope I can pull this off."

"By the look on your face, Sasuke said something else, right? Tells us, Lily."

"Well, h-he said he loved me. T-then he asked me ou-out on a d-date and I said yes. But please don't tell him that I told you. It was supposed to be a secret."

Kabuto runs up to me and grabs my throat, lifting me off the ground.

"How do we know that you're telling us the truth?"

Kabuto throws me onto the ground.

"I have Orochimaru's mark, I cannot tell a lie."

"I believe you, and don't worry, we won't tell a soul."

"Phew, thanks."

I smirk in my head.

'Man, these guys are so easy to fool.'

"So he's not Planning to run?"

"No, he's not."

"Good. Alight, you may go."

"Okay. See you later."

I walk out of the room and start walking down the hall.

'I can't believe they bought that dumb story. Like that would actually happen. Sasuke doesn't even think about me like that...'

Little did Lily know, Sasuke Uchiha truly does feel that way...
