Chapter 8: First Official Date

After watching The Longest Ride, I had so many mixed emotions and I can tell Matt did too but he insisted he just had an "eyelash in his eye". Pfft no he was crying. Im at my house now. My parents dont mind I ditched. Theyre actually glad I met a guy. Matt's picking me up tonight at about 7. He said dress casually. Good. Not really in the mood for dresses and stuff. I take a nice long shower and think about life while jamming out to remix songs. After that, I throw my hair into my towel and throw on my other black lulu leggings, a white crop top, and my hip hop jacket with my name on it. I throw on my white converse, too. I start my make up and decide to try something new. I call it the half-cut crease makeup look. I actually like how it turned out. For my hair i just leave it natural and let it flow. While waiting for the rest of the 5 hours I have to spare, I go on instagram, twitter, vine, tumblr, basically every social media and stalk my beautiful cookie family. Before I knew it, he was here. I get in his car, which he opened the door for me, hes so cute. I ask where were going and he said its a "surprise". We arrive and were at some food place I never heard of. Not fancy. Perfect. After we eat and get to know eachother more, we go ice skating. I almost fall and he holds my hand while laughing and i whack his arm playfully for laughing at me. We stare into eachothers eyes ans I find myself kissing him again. There is not electricity here.. more like fireworks. My belly flips and I feel like home when Im with him. We pull away and smile at eachother. This night is so perfect. We finish skating and we go to get some chocolate covered strawberries and some ice cream. We take silly pictures and videos and I can already be myself with him. Im so glad i dont have to hide my face when I take double chin pictures around him. He accepts me for me and these are the best feelings ever felt. I dont want this date to end. I want to stay like this forever.
