The Daughter of The Sea

Chapter 1

Luke sneered.

"Is that what you want, Thalia? To back to Olympus in triumph? To please your dad?" - Luke

Thalia hesitated, and Luke made a desperate grab for her spear.

"No!" - Annabeth

But it was too late. Without thinking, Thalia kicked Luke away. He  lost his balance. Terror filled his face as he fell backwards.

"Luke!" - Annabeth

We rushed to the cliff's edge. Below us the Princess Andromeda had stopped in amazement.

I wanted to believe that he was alive.... but that was impossible.

The fall was fifteen meters at least, and he wasn't moving.

One of the monsters looked up at as and growled.

"Kill them!"

Tears streamed down Thalia's cheeks.

I pulled her back as a wave of javelins sailed over our heads.

"Artemis!" - Percy

The goddess looked up, her face almost as grief stricken as Thalia's. Zoë laying in the goddess's arms. She was breathing. Her eyes were open. But....

We ran towards Artemis.

"The wound is poisoned." - Artemis

"Atlas poisoned her?" - Percy

"No. Not Atlas." - Artemis

I'd almost forgotten the wound from Ladon, the dragon.

It was much worse than I thought it would be. I could barely look at it.

Zoë's eyes fluttered.

"The stars.... I cannot see them....." - Zoë

"We have to get her some nectar and ambrosia! Quick!" - Percy

No one moved. Grief hung in the air.

The army of Kronos was on our tail. Their roaring made everything overwhelming.

Even Artemis was too shocked to move.

We might've met our doom right there, but then I heard a strange noise.

"Get away from my daughter!" - Dr. Chase

"Dad...? Its my dad!" - Annabeth

"A brave man indeed. But we have to hurry." - Artemis

Timeskip (I am lazy)

"Stars.... I can see the stars again, my lady!" - Zoë

"Yes... they are beautiful tonight....." - Artemis

"Stars...." - Zoë

(This makes me cry no matter how many times I read it)

Zoë then closed her eyes, falling into a deep slumber, forever.

Timeskip again (sorry but I'm lazy but we already know what happened)

(All the drama is over. They are just having fun (kind of) at the party rn)

"Dad." - Percy

I approached the God of Sea as he nodded his head to acknowledge me.

"Any trace of her?" - Poseidon

The two of us spoke in hushed voices.

"Atlas said she's gonna die soon. Dad I'm scared. What if something worse happens to her? Is it Hades? Was he lying? Does he have Penelope? Dad-" - Percy

He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Its not Hades. He may seem like a bad guy because he is the ruler of the underworld but he isn't evil. Believe it or not he is probably one of the kindest gods you'll meet out there. Never tell him I said that." - Poseidon

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, nodding.

"If I find anything, I'll tell you son." - Poseidon

He patted my shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile before making his way to Apollo. 

I ran a hand through my hair once again and left to sit alone.

Timeskip

I couldn't get anything out of Atlas.

The only reason I wanted to join the quest was to find out about Penelope. And of course save Annabeth! But if I had to choose I would definitely pick my sister.....

......Right?

.......

....I don't know......

I don't know anything anymore.....

I feel like I have failed in every way possible...

I'm not a good brother....

I'm not a good son....

I'm not a good friend as I just said that I would sacrifice Annabeth for my own happiness!

I wasn't able to save Bianca and Zoë....!

I let Nico down!

Everything is.....!

"All my fault......" - Percy

"Penelope....... Penelope..... I'm sorry..... I'm so sorry...... Its all big brother's fault..... isn't it...?" - Percy

I wiped away the tears from my eyes.

Standing up I walked to the washbasin and washed my face.

I walked out my cabin and was met with the sight of Clarisse.

Great... Just who I wanted to see....

"Out of my way loser." - Clarisse

"You might wanna watch your tone unless you want a repeat of what happened back then." - Percy

She sneered at me.

I smirked.

"You're dead meat on Friday. Loser." - Clarisse

"Friday....? Ohhh! You mean Capture the Flag? Ha! We'll see about that! Girl with toilet water up her nose!" - Percy

"Hey Percy!" - ???

"Oh hey Silena!" - Percy

She suddenly frowned.

"Are you okay? Your eyes look sort of swollen and red. * gasp * Did you cry?!" - Silena

"Silena I'm fine." - Percy

"Oh ok. But if something ever happens you must tell me!" - Silena

She smiled and waved before walking away.

"Well aren't you getting friendly with everyone." - ???

I turned to see Annabeth. Her grey eyes full of mirth.

My thoughts turned dark as I remembered how I thought I would have probably sacrificed her for Penelope.

"Whats wrong?" - Annabeth

I shook my head.

Spotting Grover nearby I walked towards him, ignoring Annabeth as she kept calling my name.

I really needed some alone time right now....
