⚡7:The diagnosis ⚡

Abel Miller

When Mariah called with the news of Andrea's situation, I wave of panic washed over me. Luckily I was on my way to Jayden's house. I called Hillspan and asked them to send an ambulance towards Jayden's house. I turned course and headed towards the hospital.

"Sir all that you asked is done"my assistant Danielle said as we entered the hospital. The ambulance didn't take long and when it arrived the doctors and nurses  that I had assigned quickly took her to the Er and started working on her.

I then called Jayden and informed him of  Andrea's situation. Soon also the King family was here. "Abel son where is our Andrea?"Jayden's uncle asked worry filling his face. "Don't worry she is with the doctors"I said and asked them to relax.

"Mr Miller the test results that we have taken are very worrying. The anemia is not actually anemia but it is showing some traces of other abnormal cells. But to be sure we will do a full blood count and we will get back to you"the doctor said and left. "I just hope my little Andrea is going to be fine"I heard Mrs King sigh.

As we sat and waited my phone rang. "Ab is Andrea fine I just landed"Jayden said and from his voice I could tell that he was worried. "The doctor is doing some tests are on her come soon"I hang up before he could even say anything. I know how he must be feeling. He has been through a lot and if anything happens to Andrea he will definitely crack. I hope nothing goes wrong

THIRD PERSON

"Ab where is she?"Jayden asked with a worry filled face. Abel pointed to the room where Andrea lay. He saw the pale eyes of his niece Andrea. His world shook as he remembered how his sister lay the same way and never woke up again. How will he live with himself if anything was to happen to his niece.

His thoughts were brought to an end when the doctor came out. "Mr King is alright we talk to you only or are you fine with the other members listening?" the doctor asked. He looked at his family and his best friend he nodded at the doctor. "Well the test that we have taken for Andrea King are disheartening. We suspect that she has leukemia as per the results that are being shown in the blood test "when the doctor let out the bomb he shocked everyone. Jayden froze, Sebastian King immediately sat down due to the shock,  Lily King fainted on the spot, William King and Abel Miller just froze. Slowly Jayden King the King of the business world started to breakdown. Though  he didn't cry his  expression  became colder and his said something else.... hurt and frustration . He made his way to Andrea's ward.

The doctor left them and assigned nurses to attend to Lily and Sebastian King. Abel followed his best friend. Never had Abel Miller in all his life see his best friend this broken. Hurt gripped his heart. No one deserved what Jayden was going through he thought.

"Don't worry it will be fine. We just have to get the best oncologist in the country. Money is not a problem just remain positive all will be fine"he hugged his best friend and they went out to look for the rest of the family. Lily king had woken up but she was crying and William King being the husband comforted her. Sebastian King was sad and worried. Jayden felt sorry for his family's situation.

Abel had informed his parents. Laurah and Charles Miller who were the original owners of the Hillspan group. They came immediately when they received a call from their son. They had cherished Jayden King for he was the first friend that their son had stuck to. To add the Millers were old friends of the King family.

"Son we are so very sorry for what has happened. Don't worry the best doctors will work on her "They assured him and gave him the parental love and comfort he longed for. After multiple of calls, the Millers arranged for a board meeting with the  excutive doctors at Hillspan. In moments everyone was heading towards the board room. Fingers crossed all the Kings'waited for a positive reply.

When everyone was settled in the board room, the Millers came in and made themselves comfortable. "We have called you today to help us approve a doctor worthy to treat Mr Jayden King's niece. Currently since there are on going changes and transfer it is hard to locate which doctor is best at their work" Mr Miller said as all eyes and ears directed to him. Murmurs were then heard. "Could you please inform us of what the patient is suffering from and the age if you may please"a doctor from the back stood up to talk. " The child is 8years old and she is allegedly being suspected of having Leukemia lymphoma after a series of anemic history in the past"Abel Miller answered on behalf of his friend.

Murmurs again rose and they prevailed for a while before the came to an end. Trevor Anderson then stood up "I think I have the perfect candidate for this case"when he said this words , hope rekindled in Jayden's and the Miller's eyes. All they wanted was their little bundle of joy Andrea to get well. "Well their is this new padeatric oncologist and surgeon from Norway. Her work is tremendous and I think this case would best suit her. Her qualifications are high class and with no doubt I know that she will try without giving up to work on Mr King's niece"Trevor spoke highly of Adalynn as he remembered the few times they worked together on the same patients and cases.

Immediately, the Miller's and Jayden smiled. The meeting was adjourned and Trevor was left behind. "Thank you so much Mr Anderson. Please give us her name and we will take care of it from there"

"She is Adalynn Wood and her office is in  the oncology department on the second floor room no 2"Trevor left after giving them Adalynn's details. He was feeling happy that Adalynn was going to take over the case for she was capable.He walked away majestically hoping for a great feedback.

Right after, Mr and Mrs Miller remembered who she was and she was gladly called for a meeting the next morning. Hope and Peace was slowly finding  way back to their lives and hearts.
