You walked down the hallway of Aberdale Elementary.
It was your first day of fourth grade and you were nervous.
You were already late for class stumbling around the halls looking for Ms. Baker's classroom.
You walked to the door with a sign over the dusty window that said,
'Ms. Baker's room'
You took a deep breath in before turning the handle.
The class stopped writing and stared at you as you walked over to the tall teacher and handed her your pass.
"Oh. Well hello there! Whats your name? Are you the new student?"
She asked as she took a clipboard out of her desk and ran her finger down the list of names.
"Let's see.. Clarence, Jeff, Sumo, Percy, ah (y/n)!"
You blushed deeply as the class continued to stare at you.
"Okay dear you can sit right here in the front."
Ms. Baker pointed to an empty desk next to a kid whom looked odd to you.
You sat down and plopped your bag on the floor.
"Alright everyone! This is (y/n). She is a new student from (s/n)."
Everyone turned their attention to you and you covered your face with your hair.
The boy next to you tapped your shoulder with the pink eraser on the tip of his pencil.
You looked up at him.
He smiled a little.
"My name is Jeffrey Randell."
He stated proudly.
"(Y/n)."
You said.
He smiled and turned back to his work.
