i can't believe I'm still hung up on this
i even found someone else so I don't understand
why.
why it still reminds me of you
but i guess its more of a nostalgia
an old sad memory
and that's okay.
i know your doing great
schools been good, so have sports
friends too.
i've been okay too.
but seriously though, i have.
my academics are soaring
my knee is a bit messed up so
sports isn't an option really,
but that's okay.
my friends are great
i went on vacation to visit family
we're both okay
but i still get undertones of sadness
thinking about the moments
i never got to spend with you.
you also like, didn't invite me to your birthday party
which is understandable.
we did break up the same week.
but that was more on you
since you kinda,
initiated it?
anyways yeah,
there's someone else
on my mind now.
but i still think of you.
not in a romantic way just
a silly thing from the past.
a fond memory i will cherish
for a long time
what i said was true,
i enjoy your company
even when we're just friends.
