Kokichi and Himiko Go Dream Hopping (1)

    "Word of fair warning, but I would not open those sodas right away if I were you," Celeste said. "I would not be surprised if he shook those bottles right before he gave them to you."

   "Hee-hee, yeah, you're right," Himiko replied, giggling bashfully. "He would do something like that."

   "And you wouldn't mind if he ended up doing that?!" Hajime exclaimed.

   "No, not really," Himiko replied. "Being in a relationship with Kokichi means sometimes putting up with his pranks. That's just how he is. They're actually not so bad, and it's also an opportunity to get back at him."

   "Aww, that's actually really sweet how you're willing to give him a chance, Himiko," Chiaki said.

   "I think she's a fool for putting up with someone so childish," Byakuya scolded. 

   "Agreed," Maki said almost immediately, though the moment she said it, she looked like she regretted it. Himiko looked hurt. To save face, Maki quickly added, "I just meant to be careful. He might end up hurting you in the end." Himiko nodded slowly, not knowing what to say. An awkward silence lingered in the classroom until Mr. Watanabe broke it.

   "Ah, well, now that that's over, let's get back to today's lesson, shall we?" he said. Himiko packed her snacks away in her bunny backpack, unable to keep her mind off of Maki's ruthless behavior a few moments ago.

    Later that evening after school, Himiko sat underneath the tree up on the hill behind Casa V3, writing in her diary. She wrote:

   Dear diary,

   Today was a surprisingly special day! I got a pretty good grade on my chemistry test! It wasn't the grade that I wanted, but I'm happy with it. Also, I actually had fun in history, too! Probably cuz I got paired up with Ibuki as my partner. I didn't think she could turn history into something fun!  I also had a pretty good lunch, too! Matter of fact, it was my favorite lunch! And I sat with Tenko and Angie, which was funny because I made Tenko laugh so hard that milk came out of her nose. Angie and I laughed so hard at that, and it still makes me laugh the more I think about it. But the best thing that happened was that, in the middle of math class, Kokichi brought me snacks! See, he has Mrs. Yoshida's art class, while I have Mr. Watanabe's math class, and I guess Mrs. Y sent Kokichi to give Mr. W a note. Apparently, Kokichi stopped by some vending machines on the way to Mr. W's class to buy me some snacks, AND HE GAVE THEM TO ME IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS!!! EEEEEEEEEEE!!! AND HE KISSED ME ON MY CHEEK!!! I FEEL LIKE EXPLODING WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS RIGHT NOW!!! Everyone thought it was cute...except for a few students, like Maki. Maki has been kinda mean to me, lately, and I don't know why. Sometimes, I wonder if-

    "Heeeeey, Monkey Buns!" Himiko was interrupted by Kokichi walking up the hill to where she was. She closed her diary and smiled at him. He sat next to her and gave her a soft kiss on her lips. She blushed and sighed bashfully. "Soooo, what'cha doin?'" he asked as he nuzzled her nose. 

   "Nyeh...nothing much," Himiko replied, tapping her diary. "Just writing my entry for today." A sneaky smile spread across Kokichi's face. Himiko rolled her eyes and smiled. "No, you can't read it," she said, seeming to read his mind.
