Elliot Meets Demolition

"Should we maybe wait for El? Come back with him, he could help," Maya pointed out nervously.

"El is spending the whole day with his girlfriend. I don't know when he's coming back," Riley told her.

Maya sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Only I talk," Maya told Riley again.

"I'm sure that's best," Riley nodded and smiled.

At the front of the counter

A girl brought in a strange looking dress with a dirty peach top and greyish blue bottom made out of net.

The counter girl looked at the dress in disgust.

"Oh, honey, I feel so bad you bought that in the first place. I mean, it's not even a color," counter girl said disgusted.

The girl selling the dress looked offended.

The counter girl took out some money out of the cash register.

"Look. I could give you 10 bucks for it, 'cause maybe we'll sell it for 15. But how about I'll give you 12? 'Cause, say, the next girl who walks through the door is going to an ugly dress party, right? An optimist is what I am. So you give me that, I give you 12 bucks right now," the counter girl held  her empty hand out and in the other  hand she carried 12 dollars.

The girl selling her the dress still looked confused and offended.

"You give me that," the counter girl demanded.

The girl selling the dress gave it away and  took the 12 dollar.

"You're welcome!" The counter girl shouted and put the ugly dress aside.

The girl selling the dress walked out.

"Your turn," the counter girl told Riley and Maya.

"Triple, double, run," Maya whispered to Riley.

"Yes, ma'am," Riley saluted.

They went to the front of the counter.

"Sup?" The counter girl greeted them.

"Sup?" Riley nodded.

"Give you 38 bucks, the whole thing right now," the counter offered.

"We'll take triple," Maya told her.

"Now you go up to 76, because that's double, and we'll take it," Riley smiled and told their entire plan.

Maya face palmed.

"38," the counter girl smiled at Riley.

"No," Riley shook her head and smiled.

"38," the counter girl remained firmed and smiled.

"She's not doing this right," Riley smiled and turned to Maya

"24," the counter girl lowered her offer.

"What say we keep this between you and me?" Maya moved Riley aside.

"What say," the counter girl looked at Maya amused.

"You offered 38. It's worth double. You know it, I know it," Maya raised an eyebrow at the counter girl.

"You know it?" The counter girl turned to Riley.

"I do candy," Riley smiled.

"I had a friend like her once," the counter girl said amused.

"What happened?" Maya asked.
