Chapter 13 - A Kiss In The Office

In the hall of Khanna mansion all the elders were sitting and talking. Today they called a panditji to measure the accurate date for the wedding. Rina and Sonia looked so excited. They can't wait to hear when the wedding going to be held. The panditji was was invited now checking on his panjika trying to find a good day for the marriage. He has been looking for past 10 minutes.

Rina restlessly asked "what happened panditji? Is there any problem in their kundli?"

"Yes, of there's any problem then then there must be some way to solve it" Sonia added.

Panditji looked up and gave an assured smile "please don't worry. There's nothing wrong in the kundli of bride and groom instead the kundli are well matched. Out of the 36, the bride and groom has matched 22 Gunas in the kundli which is considered very good. Both bride and groom were blessed my heavens"

Rina and Sonia looked at each other. They smiled and nodded to themselves. It's really hard to find such good match. Matching 22 out of 36 is good. At least their children will lead a good life after marriage.

"I knew these two kids are well matched" Anil laughed.

Karan nodded "you are right. Everything is perfect and I can see Anushka and Vijay liked each other too"

Everyone agreed to it. Rina smiled at Panditji "Panditji since their kundli matched so well when I can take my daughter in my home?"

With her question Sonia's eyes moistened. She wanted her daughter to be happy and get respects and love. And now she was glad that Anushka is going in the hands of Rina, who will definitely treat her well.

"I have checked it several time" Panditji started to reply "there's is no urgency, and the auspicious time for the marriage has fallen on the next Saptami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha. Which means next month of 16 day"

"Next month? That fast?" Sonia gasped "how can such a big arrangments going to be finished in such a short date?"

"Panditji is there any other day?" Karan asked.

"There is but it will be long. The next auspicious date fell on the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha. But it will 4 months later" Panditji replied checking his panjika again.

Rina shook her head "no, no. 4 month is too long time"

Sonia also agreed "it's true. 4 month is quite long timing. But how will we manage the arrangements of the marriage in such a short time?" She looked at Karan.

Karan smiled "since the auspicious day could not be missed then we have to start preparing from today"

Anil nodded "right, even if the time is short, we can't miss any small details in the arrangements. After all it's the marriage of our precious kids"

Finally the marriage date is fixed but the two mansion become crowded to start the arrangements. The time is short while the arrangements will be huge.

On the other hand Anushka went to Malhotra company to meet Vijay. Vijay just finished his board meeting and now it's lunch time. Usual Rina sents food for him but today there's none. Vijay couldn't help but frown. Manik was also not here in the office so he had to take all the responsibility. In the early morning Manik left to another city for a meeting. Vijay closed his laptop and about to call his assistant to order for lunch when he heard knocks on the door.

"Come in" he answered but his eyes lingered on his phone. The door pushed opened and a figure walked in slowly.

"What is i-" Vijay looked up and said professionally but stopped in middle when he saw Anu standing in front of him with a smile. She was looking all gorgeous with her dark pink anarkali.

"Anu" a broad smile spread on his face and he got up and walked towards her "what a great surprise!"

Anu smiled "are you happy?"

Vijay engulfed her in a hug and mumbled "too happy"

"Come on I brought you lunch" Anu broke the hug and said.

"You are here for this?" He raised his eyebrows.

Anu blushed "yes, and there's also something"

"Come here" he pulled her towards the small couch at the side. The tiffin box was placed on the glass table and they settled in the couch.

"What the other thing?" He asked.

"Mom called and said our marriage date is fixed"

"Really?" Vijay's eyes lit up immediately "when it is?"

"Umm...next month" Anu shyly replied.

Vijay grinned "it's good.I can't wait to make you my wife"

Anushka smiled "I will serve the food"

Soon the dishes were spread on the plates and they had lunch.  Anushka poured a glass of water and grabbed the bowl from the table.

"I made this kheer" she stared "I heard from aunty that you like it"

"Yes it is my favourite one" Vijay smiled. "You made dessert for me?"

"I thought you will like it" Anu smiled.

"I really love it" he grinned then his eyes fell on her red lips "but I would prefer another type of dessert"

Anushka frowned "what?"

Vijay leaned forward "I would like to kiss you for dessert"

Anushka's eyes widened as she stared at him "but .. this" her heart started to pounce in her chest.

Vijay smiled "whether we marry today or tomorrow you are already mine. There's no way I will let you back out of this relationship. Why are you hesitating?"

Anushka looked down "it's nothing like that. I.... It's my first time kissing a man so ..."

Vijay stopped her with a kiss on her cheek "Don't worry, I know it's your first time. And I will be gentle" with that he captured her lips with his. He pulled her closer until she was completely pressed on his body. Anushka held onto his broad shoulder for support.

Vijay licked her lips then nipped it sensually. Anushka couldn't help but moaned and he took the chance to shove his tongue in her mouth. Reaching the every corner of it, massaging it with his tongue and tasting her innocence. The kiss become intense and Anushka moaned and started to gasp for breath. Vijay tired his mouth from her but didn't left her. He trailed his lips on her jaw then to her neck kissing her. Anushka closed her eyes and moaned clutching his shoulder. Her back touched the soft couch and Vijay continued to kiss her neck.

"Vijay..." Anushka moaned.

"I am going crazy darling" he whispered and bit her neck.

"Ah ..." Anushka almost screamed.

"Painful?" Vijay chuckled.

Anushka slapped his back "what do you think you are doing?"

Vijay raised his head and grinned "I am giving you something that will remind you of me until our wedding night"

Anushka blushed and bit her lips.

"I love you" suddenly Vijay confessed making her shock.

"Vijay-"

"I just want to say it" he smiled.

Anushka's eyes moistened and cupped his face "I love you too"

"Really?"

She nodded again.

"I love you so much" he said again and kissed her for the second time.
