Chandler Carlton Riggs is an American child actor.

Riggs played a Munchkin in his musical theater debut, Atlanta's Fox Theater production of The Wizard of Oz, and got his first major acting break in the 2009 film Get Low (as the character Tom)

At age 10, Riggs was cast in his biggest role to date: Carl Grimes on the The Walking Dead, an AMC television horror drama series. Grimes, his family and friends fight to survive in a violent apocalyptic world populated with zombies and the few surviving humans, some of whom are even more diabolical and dangerous than the zombies. The drama is the highest rated in cable television history and has smashed all previous ratings records.[9] In 2012 and 2013, Riggs was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor for his role on the show.

Riggs had previously worked with executive producer Gale Anne Hurd on the television movie The Wronged Man.

Riggs' hobbies include swimming, mountain biking, rollerblading and skiing. He is a drummer and tap dancer. Riggs' father, William, is a member of the band Jillhammer

I don't really read any comics, but when I got casted on the show, I starting reading 'The Walking Dead' comics. I felt like I needed a better idea of the character.

I'm really into, like, electric pop music and dubstep, things like that.

I really like Deadmau5 and Coyote Kisses. And Foo Fighters too, I like rock.

I do a lot of video games - I have a YouTube channel where I record me playing video games with my friends and post it. That's a hobby I have and a lot of what I do in my off time.

Since in that world the idea of the dead coming back to life never existed, they didn't have a name to call them, so they called them walkers
