This book series is just so good omg
Ignite me is everyone's favorite book and we are so right for that
I've seen ppl rate defy me really low but I enjoyed it greatly. Like it had me gasping the whole time, the whole series had me gasping but especially this book. If not much actually happened tbh, the drama wasn't totally there from what I remember. Like the situation was so easy to get out of from what I remember but it was jam packed with shocking reveals so it's fine
The first book is kinda a comfort book, the earlier wring in the books just brings me such joy
It changes as the books go on. It starts with like crossed out sentences being replaced and stuff, like it's hee journal. It's very poetic too in the beginning. I think it changing from that is very symbolic for many reasons, for one it's hee not writing in the journal anymore and also hee not dealing with her trauma and stuff. She just stuffs it aside and pretends everything's better cause it's over but it still has a great effect on her
I don't remember that poetic wrong actually coming back for her pov, tho don't hold me to that. I only remember in the beginning of one of kenjis pov or novellas there was like this little thing about spiders, like it was like this weird metaphor thing that just brought me back to the beginning book. I really enjoyed tjay style of writing. Tho the writing throughout the whole series is amazing, also the world building
