**Hey all, sorry its taken me a while, but here's the next part! Let me know what you think! AKA Comment and Vote!!! :)

My feet fell silently on the ground. I couldn’t see anything around me, the night had encompassed it all. Still I moved forward, my hand reaching around the corner just in front of me. He could be right around that corner. He could be right behind me. Somehow I had lost track of him in my desire to escape. Every nerve in my body was on edge, telling me that he knew exactly where I was. I took a deep breath. Standing here would do me no good. If I wanted to escape I had to keep moving.

I turned the corner, running into a wall that shouldn’t have been there. I knew right away that it was no wall, but him. Just as he tried to pin me, I moved. Each time I felt his actions, my body would automatically react. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt him, but I couldn’t let him capture me.

“I tracked you for three years Serpent Belle. Did you really think I wouldn’t be able to find you now?” He moved to grab me, I moved to avoid him.

“I strung you along for three years Bat Boy. Besides, finding me isn’t the same as catching me.” I hit him in the stomach, giving me just enough time to disappear from sight. I took off running, my footsteps silent. If I made any sound he would be able to find me. I slowed down, not wanting my breathing to get too loud. I crouched low, scanning around me for any sign of him. I had taught him so much, and now he was using it against me.

I started to relax when there was no movement. There were no sounds that I knew he would make. He never was the best at tracking silently. I turned to my left, walking away. If I stayed in one place too long, he was sure to find me.

After only two steps, I hit a wall. When I put my hand against it, the warmth that spread told me it was no cold, concrete wall. Before I had time to recover from shock, his arms were around me, pinning me.

He leaned down right next to me. “I believe I just found and caught you Serpent Belle. You’re coming with me,” he whispered in my ear.

I dropped my head back against his chest. “Fine Blade, we’ll go back. I have a terrible feeling about going back there, but fine.” I turned and looked him in the eye. “I am staying there for two days at most.”

He just shook his head. “As you wish, love. Two days it is.”

As soon as we got back to our room I started packing.  I moved through routine, each object having its perfect space. My mind drifted back to Blade catching me. Part of me wants to go back, so I didn’t try my hardest. Even still though, he should not have been able to catch me that fast. After I had worked so hard for so long, it just should not have been possible. I trained with countless masters, learning everything that I could. I used to be perfect. Blade never would have been able to follow me in the first place if I hadn’t let him.

I had found my center, where no one could touch me. Something changed the night that I killed Night. I had never been able to truly touch my center since then. I didn’t know who to blame more, Night or Blade for refusing to let me leave. Ever since he finally caught me after three years, he refused to let me leave. Part of me knew that I had to find a way to leave him to find my center again. Another part of me knew never wanted to leave his side again.

I was torn in two all because he never stopped. Three years and he never stopped. I had to make sense of Night’s last words.  What if my mother really was still alive? There was no doubt that his organization was still hidden in the world. I barely had a start on that. I couldn’t let Blade distract me from what I had to do. I would go back to the school for two days and then walk away. This time I wouldn’t allow Blade to follow me. I had to stop everything Night created once and for all. The bastard would not live on.
