"All this talk about Changbin...how are you feeling Lix? And be honest with us."

"It's just....what could I have done wrong? From what I know Chan doesn't even pay him any attention that way and I-" Felix dropped his face into his hands, trying to calm down a little so he didn't cause a scene. "I just love him so much."

Jeongin locked eyes with Hyunjin from across the table. They couldn't relate, the both of them in long, healthy relationships. Despite that, they knew how tough this could be and it only hurt more to know they couldn't do much to help him.

Hyunjin reached his hands across the table, lightly grasping onto Felix's hand. "Felix? Maybe you need to get your mind away from all of this, focus on something else." His eyes glanced over to the bakery counter.

"I know you love baking so maybe you could get a job here? I know Wooyoung and he'd definitely love to have you."

Felix appreciated his attempts to lift his spirits, he wasn't totally clear but working did sound like a good idea. "Yeah...maybe I could."

Seungmin rushed into the house, closing the door behind him. He skipped steps as he practically ran upstairs to Changbin's room.

"Bin?" He didn't bother knocking and instead opened the door slowly, peeking his head through the doorway. "Binnie?"

Changbin sat at his desk chair, one hand propped on the table and his head leaning onto it. He twirled a ring in his free hand, weaving it through his fingers.

"Changbin?" Seungmin walked into the room and to the older male's side. "Hey..." He rested his hands softly on his shoulders. Changbin still hadn't turned around and acknowledged him yet, still playing around with the ring.

"I came over as soon as you texted me. Are you okay?"

Changbin had texted him a barrage of messages at three in the morning. Usually, Seungmin would ignore it considering he valued his sleep schedule but when he really looked at what the older was sending him, he couldn't just not come over.

"Changbin, Can you say something?"

Seungmin knew the basics of what happened but from his inference this all happened a few days ago.

He forcefully turned his chair around, bending down to see his face. "Please?"

"I ruined everything."

Changbin finally lifted his head and Seungmin could see how hard this was all hitting him.

"It sucks..you know?" He laughed dryly, spinning the ring on his finger once again. "I had everything then lost it all in one day because of a stupid, stupid mistake. Isn't that funny?"

Seungmin sighed, he didn't know what to do. What was there for him to do? He was going to be honest, that much was obvious but maybe brutal honesty isn't what he needed right now. Seungmin wasn't the one to coddle or comfort though, he wasn't that kind of friend and Changbin knew that. Maybe that's why he called him.

"Was it a mistake though?" Seungmin's head tilted, "was kissing Chan not your intentions?"

"Yes but I-"

"You knew what he had going on with Minho but yet you still pursued him...why?"

Changbin's mouth opened and closed, struggling to get any words out with the rapid questions Seungmin was giving him. "I don't- I don't fucking know Seungmin!"

"You do, you don't act on anything unless you're sure of it. So why? And while Felix was literally in arms reac-"

"I don't know, Seungmin." Changbin dropped his head, hands scrunching in his hair. "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know."

"But you do, you just don't want to say it." Seungmin kept his face blank, he felt somewhat bad for the older but he didn't deserve pity. He was still his friend but he needed him to realize what he'd done before anything else.

"What did you hope would happen after 'confessing' to Chan? What would you have done with Felix? There's too many things up in the air without answers, Changbin."

Changbin's head snapped up, "I don't fucking know!" He threw Felix's ring as hard as he could at the opposite wall, it bounced off, rolling somewhere around the room. "I couldn't take it any longer."

Changbin really didn't want to cry but he couldn't help it. He'd cried enough the past three days and he was sure he wasn't the only one, he wanted to stop but at this point he couldn't.

"Being in the house with him for the past month has been so hard. I could have approached this differen't. I could have-" In the middle of his sentence he stood then dropped to his knees, searching for the ring through his carpet.

Once he found it, he held the small object close to his chest, sitting back against the wall. "This could have gone so much differently for me...for everyone, I know that now."

Seungmin sat with his legs crossed in front of the male, laying his hands in his lap. "I'm here for you and I know you know that as well." His eyes glanced to Felix's ring then to Changbin's own matching one that he was still wearing.

"But you can't just avoid him forever."
