I Thought You'd Be Happier To See Me

Start from the beginning

"Dr. Saltzman is out of surgery." MG announces to the group. "He's stable."

"Thank God." Lizzie breathes

"Okay, when can we see him?" Josie asks

"More importantly, when can you see him?" Lizzie questions

"Soon." MG says. "But I don't think I'm gonna be able to fix what's wrong with him."

Kaleb and Cleo run in. "We just heard what happened." Cleo says, out of breath

"How's Doc doing?" Kaleb asks, looking around at the group. His eyes land on Sadie who is sitting alone and doesn't have a certain red haired friend sitting right by her side. "Where's Hope?" He asks

"I got through to Finch." Kaleb says, walking over to the group where the vibe is very sad and somber. "Hope's not at the school and...And, obviously, I missed something big while I was gone."

"Just a magic mirror call with Professor Vardemus, who told us what I was afraid of." MG says. "Doc's in a coma. Our blood... it can't wake Dr. Saltzman up. And it turns out the human brain doesn't heal so easy. It's the same way with certain diseases."

"The doctors finally came by, too." Josie says. "And they said that we won't know what we're dealing with until Dad wakes up."

"If." Lizzie says sadly from in between Josie and Sadie

"Perhaps there is a way to wake Dr. Saltzman and learn what happened to him." Cleo suggests

"How?" Josie asks

"Another vampire power." Cleo says. "The same one you used to reach me when I was trapped in Malivore's mind."

"A head dive." Kaleb says. "She's right. If I can get you in there and you can find Doc, then..."

"Then we might be able to bring him back with us." Josie says

"It's a good plan." Lizzie says. "But for all we know, a monster could have attacked Dad, so sorry, Kaleb, but I'm not willing to trust someone who sold us out to Malivore. Guess that means it's up to you." She says, looking at MG. Then, she looks at Sadie. "You with us, Nightshade?" She asks and Sadie gives her a silent nod. "Good. Let's do this." She says

MG sends Lizzie, Sadie, and Josie into Dr Saltzman's head

"It's too late." Memory Hope says as the three girls appear on the sidelines, watching. "My humanity switch flipped the second that sword went through Landon. But I got to say, it really seems to be working for me. I got so sick of being controlled by my emotions. It's like: love, lose, grieve, repeat. I am finally free. So don't try to talk me out of it. I'm not coming back."

"Then why did you bring me here?" Memory Dr Saltzman asks

"To send a message." Memory Hope says. "Make sure that my, um, little friends stay away, too."

"Well, I don't think they'll listen." Memory Dr Saltzman says

"I'll make it loud and clear." Memory Hope says, her eyes flashing with vamp powers and then she begins beating up Memory Dr Saltzman

"Hope, this isn't you." Memory Dr Saltzman says from where he was hit to on the ground

"Oh, it is." Memory Hope says, throwing Memory Dr Saltzman into the air and slamming him onto the ground again. She kneels down in front of him. "I know you've been trying to stop this from happening since I was a little girl, but, uh... you were only holding me back. Cause I finally realized... I am my father's daughter." She says and Memory Dr Saltzman's eyes flash with fear. She throws him to the ground and breaks his back. "And I'm cool with that." She says, her eyes flashing as she leaves the scene
