James tried to talk to Lily Evans today. He tries all the time...it never really works!
Transfiguration went well. My beetle was turned into a button. Of course, James was able to do it the quickest, but at least mine didn't look like a button with legs and antennae (Peter's did). Quidditch tryouts are next week which just so happened to be the week of the full moon. Saturday, September 23. Good luck to me....
I found a loophole in the dress code. Apparently we are not supposed to tear, cut, or write on our school robes. No one said anything about "coloring" them. James and Sirius plan to turn the Slytherins robes PINK! Of course, they'll get a week's detention if they're caught, but they won't get into more trouble than that. It'll be worth it. James reckons I should plan all our pranks this year. Sirius says i'm great at finding loopholes and not getting caught. Peter says that he needs help with his transfiguration homework about the beetles and buttons. I'm going to go and help him now.
Also, we have DADA tomorrow....I am not looking forward to that.
