MAKING NEW FRIENDS WAS NOT EASY, MOVING TO A SMALL TOWN WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU DO AND YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME WAS NOT EASY EITHER.

Aaliyah couldn't go back to sleep even though it was five something in the morning she decide to get up to go take a shower to go clear her mind before the day gets started.

As Aaliyah was coming back from her shower walking towards her bedroom she noticed her mom room light was on and was a conversation with someone on the house phone, she wanted to eavesdrop on her conversation but decided not to after what happened last time.

Slowly closing her bedroom door trying to not make a sound she takes a seat on the cream colored stool looking back at her reflection in the mirror of her vanity.

The table was covered with makeup and hair products as usual, taking her hair curling iron out of the bottom drawer getting ready to plug them into the wall outlet.

After curling her hair it was already daylight outside glancing over at the red betty boop clock that sat on her bedside table the time on the clock read seven fifth-teen time was already moving quick as hell.

"Shit" she says heading towards her closet shuffling through the soft velvet hangers that hung on the rod trying to find a outfit to wear. Going with a long white sleeve shirt, red cable knit cardigan sweater, and high waisted mom jeans with a pair of white nike shoes now it was finally time to get started on her makeup.

Running down the stairs towards the kitchen, opening up the dark brown cabinet door and grabbing a box of starwberry pop tarts opening it up and putting it into the toaster.

"Good morning" her mom Diana greeted with a yellow coffee mug in her right hand taking small swigs from it while reading the morning news paper.

"Morning" the nervous girl replied back taking a seat at the kitchen table waiting for her pop tart to pop out of the toaster any second now looking around her surroundings.
