Mal's Date

Ben looks at her and say

"You know, I've done all the talking. Your turn. I really don't know that much about you. Tell me something." Smiling at her.

Mal thought about it for a second before saying

"Well, I'm 16. I'm an only child. And I've only ever lived in one place."

Ben smiles saying

"Me, too. That... we have so much in common already."

Mal chuckled at him saying

"No. Trust me, we do not. And now you're gonna be king."

Ben looks down at the ground saying

"Yeah"

Mal looks at him and say

"What?"

Ben looks at Mal and say

"A crown doesn't make you a king."

Mal looks at him confused saying

"Well, it kind of does" as she chuckles and smiles.

Ben smiles softly saying

"No, it... Your mother is mistress of evil and I've got the poster parents for goodness. But we're not automatically like them. We get to choose who we're gonna be. And right now, I can look into your eyes and I can tell you're not evil. I can see it"

Then Ben looks at the lake and smile saying

"Let's go for a swim"as he gets up

Mal looks at him confused saying

"Hm? What? Uh... Right now?"

Ben looks at her saying

"Yeah. Right now"

Mal chuckles nervously saying

"I think I'm just gonna stay here."

Ben stuck his hand out saying

"No, no, no. Come on."

Mal looks at him and say

"I think I'm gonna stay behind and try a strawberry. I've literally never tried a strawberry before. Mm! Mm..."looking at the strawberry

Ben smiles saying

"Don't eat all of them." Walking off

Mal says

"Ok" as she continues eating the strawberry.

Mal eats the strawberries enjoying them and turn around to see Ben in shorts on a cliff, she gets up looking at him as he waves at her.

Mal looks at him saying

"Are those little crowns on your shorts?"

Ben looks at her and smiled saying

"Maybe"

Mal waves at him as he waves back at her.

Ben lets out a loud roar like his dad, the beast and screamed

"Whoo! Ha-ha!" as he jumps in the water causing Mal to laugh.

Then Mal turns around leaning against the pillar looking sad as she started singing.

Mal finished singing as she noticed Ben haven't came back up from the water as she looks around in a frantic saying

"Ben? Ben? Ben!"

Mal panics and thinks he's drowning as she jumps in the water to try and save him but started struggling to stay afloat above the water remembering that she can't swim.

Then all of a sudden, something grabs Mal as she look seeing Ben emerged from the water taking her back to pillar, Ben puts her down and shook all the water out his hair like a dog.

Mal hits him on his arm saying

"You scared me!"

Ben looks at her confused saying

"You... you can't swim?"

Mal says

"No!"

Ben looks at her and say

"You live on an island!"

Mal looks at him upset saying

"Yeah, with a barrier around it, remember? Ugh!"

Ben looks at her and say

"And you still tried to save me."

Mal looks at him upset saying

"Yeah. And do you thank me? No! All I get is soaking wet!"

Then Ben shows her a rock and say

"And this fancy rock. It's yours." Handing it to her.

Mal look at the rock then back at him as Ben says

"Make a wish and throw it back in the lake"

Mal throws the rock back in the water still upset as she gets up from the ground walking away. Ben gets out of the water following Mal grabbed his jacket and placed it on her shoulders and smiles.

Mal lets out a breathe as she sat down on the ground along with Ben not looking at him.

Ben looks at her as he touches Mal's hair softy saying

"Uh, Mal... I told you that I loved you. What about you? Do you love me?"

Mal looks at him saying

"I don't know what love feels like." Sighing softly as she looks away.

Then Ben grabs her chin softly and turns her head to look at him as Ben looks at her saying

"Maybe I can teach you"
