School

You entered inside the school gate, making your way towards the building your class was in.

Fists tightly closed and buried inside the pockets of your blazer, wearing a cold face on, your heart thumped in weird nervousness.

Maybe you weren't just ready to face people again. Lol

Holding the strip of your bag, you were casually walking. You digged your hand inside your skirt's pocket taking your airpods out, not noticing that something fell while you did so.

You plugged the earphones in your ear, ready to take your phone out too when suddenly someone bumped into you making you stumble and frown.

It seemed intentional but you let it slide.
You made an annoyed face and sighed not wanting to create a scene early in the morning, your name was already too famous for the same.

"Oops sorry, Vice prez", he said smiling and stepped on the piece of paper that fell out of your pocket before, without your knowledge.

Taking a quick glance at him, you walked away entering the senior wing building, and went straight towards your locker.

Your eyes unknowingly roamed around searching for Taehyung but then two girls gossiping behind you caught your attention.

"Yeah, she always seemed so sad"

"She was sweet tho, I've talked to her few times"

"Ahh, poor Cho-hee. But atleast she's in a better place now"

"Mm I know right, I felt so bad, and you know the school has now even closed the rooftop, nobody's allowed to go there anymore"

Your face turned pale and you didn't hear anything else after hearing the word "Cho-hee"
Your heart thumped rapidly as you prayed you just misunderstood something. Goosebumps appeared on your skin as negative thoughts started roaming in your mind.

Somehow gathering some courage you made your way towards those girls with terrified expressions. As soon as they noticed you coming near them, they bowed their head while you restlessly spoke out, "A-h sorry to interrupt you, b-but can you guys please t-tell me what are you talking about?", They looked confused as of why you were asking. But then it clicked in their mind that you've been absent from last few days.

"Ah sunbaenim, you must not know. There's a girl of our school, Cho-hee, she committed suicide 4 days back..by jumping off the rooftop, everyone was so shocked hearing the news.."

One of them said with sadness visible in her voice as your mind went blank.
You let out a shaky breath, and your hand trembled as you brought it up to wipe the sweat off your forehead but stopped in the mid way, thanking them and walking away.

You immediately went towards your locker, to search for any of her usual note, but there wasn't any.

There won't be any from now on

You remembered the last day you attended school, was when she left a note in your locker..her last ever note for you and you didn't even know

You remembered how you made a note in your mind to meet her that day..

But you didn't, you forgot

And who knew that was the last chance you could meet her

You reached for the note in your pocket after you recalled that you kept it here but your lower lip trembled as you panicked not finding it anywhere.

You checked each and every pocket. You even checked your bag.
But still, nothing.

Only you know how bad you wanted to cry at the moment. You couldn't save her

You failed, again

"Why did you give up Cho-hee, I thought you were fine now?", You mumbled as the stubborn tears formed in yours making your view blur.

Yeah you thought, that she was doing fine

You were helplessly standing infront of your locker when suddenly something clicked in your mind.

The morning incident.

When you took your airpods out.

And Chen bumped into you?

You frowned as you connected the dots. And your eyes roamed here and there thinking of some possibilities

"Hey Tae, Can we eat lunch together today?", Asked Ha-Rin to Taehyung while trying to hold his hand who forcefully smiled at her and spoke, "Uh no I already have plans for eating with someone else, next time maybe?", he spoke still smiling making her pout and nod while he cringed and turned away from her, when his eyes fell on Jungkook and Jimin standing a little far, laughing and talking.

"Hey, sup?", He spoke grabbing their attention as soon as he reached near them

"All good man, well who were you talking to just now?", Asked Jimin with a teasing smile.

"Don't,, she's gross and clingy asf", said Taehyung chuckling while rolling his eyes

"Whyy, she's got a nice ass tho", Spoke Jimin eyeing her figure, while Taehyung and Jungkook scrunched their nose in disgust.

"Literally Jimin, every girl?", Said Jungkook giggling and hitting his shoulder

"She must've a nice ass, but not better than yours, daddy", Spoke Taehyung imitating a girly voice slapping Jimin's butt and later bursting out laughing along with Jungkook, who almost fell while doing so.

While Jimin's eyes widened and he shouted, "Yahhh, I know, but don't be gay boii"

"I'm nottt being one, I already have my girl okay?", chuckled Taehyung.
"Oh yeah, by girl I remembered, did anyone see Y/n?", He asked to both of them

"Huh? No? I thought she won't come today either--", spoke Jungkook after shrugging but stopped when his eyes fell on your figure walking furiously past the students standing in the hallway..

"Well there she is- woah shit, who's going to heaven today"
