~Hunter x Reader~

~A date to chaos~

Eda was lecturing you about why you shouldn't go into the forest alone. "Kid, you need to be careful okay?"

"Yeah yeah. So next time I go, just bring Luz or Hunter." You responded back.

Eda sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "y/n I'm serious. You need to be careful when doing those things. Promise me you will."

"Yes Eda, I promise I will."

"Good." Eda left the room.

You leaned back against the couch. Just the mention of Hunter made you think about Hunter and you smiled thinking about the dork you love. There was a pecking at the window and you looked to see it was one of those bird things. You went over to the window, opening it, and picked up the bird phone thing.

"Hello?" You answered with.

"Hey princess." Said a familiar and dorky voice. "I was just wondering if you would like to go out on a date."

You gasped and smiled. "Bet. Meet me by the bookshop."

You heard Hunter chuckle on the other side of the line. "Alright, see you there love." And he hung up.

You smiled happily as you let the bird phone fly away. A date with Hunter. Sure it was nothing new, but it was still amazing.

You ran upstairs to change clothes, grabbing a black crop top and some jean shorts with fishnet leggings. After you changed into those, you put on your shoes and brushed your hair, putting it in a low bun. You ran out the door.

"Bye Eda! I'm off to a date!" You yelled as you walked out.

"Bye kid. Be careful!" Eda called back.

You started running towards town, wanting to get to the bookstore first so you could surprise Hunter. When you reached the bookstore, you stopped and took a moment to catch your breath after running. You were about to find a hiding spot when suddenly, a surprising pair of hands grabbed your waist, hugging you.

You jumped some in response to this while squeaking. "Eep!" You blushed in slight embarrassment.

"Hey beautiful. Did you really think you were going to get here first just to surprise me?" Hunter said, chuckling after saying that, already knowing the answer.

"Maybe- still doesn't hurt to try though!" You turned away from Hunter.

"And that's one of the many reasons I love you. Cause you're so determined to do something." Hunter smiled at you.

Although you didn't respond back, your face said it all as it turned some sort of red.

Hunter noticed you didn't respond verbally. "Giving me the silent treatment, hm?" He grinned and scooped you up into his arms. "And scoop!"

You hid your face into Hunter's neck. "You rascal.."

"Whaat? I'm just being a good boyfriend by giving you attention, aren't I?"

"I guess..you're still a rascal though. Specifically my dorky rascal who likes to tease me all the time.

"You're just adorable when you're flustered that's all!" Hunter smiled his cute and dorky smile.

"Yeah yeah, whatever."

"So shall we go into the shop love?"

"Nah, I just want some ice cream."

"Alright. To there we go!" Hunter exclaimed as he started walking, still holding you.

When you and Hunter got to the ice cream shop, he went inside and then set you down. "What flavor you want?" He asked.
