Too good to be true (Gin x reader) part 2

"You better not fuck with us. Give us the money and you will make it out alive."

But in that moment, you heard another voice, coming from the door. "You should be the one worried about making it out alive."

Both you and Gin were now standing in that room, surrounded by like 5 guys with guns. You can't say that you expected it to go smoothly, but this didn't seem nice either.

You took out your gun as well, but then you heard Gin's voice, so silent you could barely hear it. "It's not a good idea, you shoot one and another gets you."

She was right, attacking them was not a smart thing to do. "But what do we do?" You whispered to her.

"I don't know.. we can't really run, can we?"

You didn't know their intentions. If you start running, will they attack you?

"Ugh what do you want?" You asked.

"Isn't it obvious? What has control over the whole world is what we want, money."

"But you are the ones who owe us."

"Yeah maybe, but I thought you knew better than that, stronger takes all. And I don't really believe that the two of you can defeat us."

He was right. But even if you had some money with you, you wouldn't give it away to these guys.

"You probably don't have any on you, but I know who the two of you are and I know that your boss would be willing to pay us quite a lot to have such a strong assassins back." He continued on with his speech.

"That's good. They want us alive, otherwise we have no worth to them." You whispered to Gin. In your head you stared to think about a plan to run away.... Need to distract them. But how?

Before you were able to think of anything, Gin already took the whole situation in her own hands, attacking one of them. As always, she was so fast and her movements were unpredictable.

You heard a shot that only hit the wall, then one of the guys screaming "don't you dare kill them, we want them alive!"

You took out your gun, shot one of them, then you took Gin's hand and started running away, taking her with you. Didn't take you long to get to the main door, just to find out it's locked.

Gin looked at the windows, blocked with those old iron bars, no way you can get through these. "We're fucked." She seemed to panic, which was a very rare thing to see. You heard the guy's footsteps as they were coming after you and then, you realised something. There was no time to explain, you took Gin's hand and dragged her to the stairs. "We have to get to the first floor!"

They were right behind you, shooting at you, luckily they always missed. Oh how much you wished you could throw some explosives on them, but it was too risky. If you used them while you're in the building, it would become your grave as well.

When you ran up the stairs, you were in some hallway. "Find a window!" You demanded. Gin looked a bit confused, probably she didn't realise that only the ones in the ground floor were blocked. "Trust me." You looked her into eyes and she nodded.

You entered a random room. These guys didn't seem to follow you, probably they didn't see you going in. You pulled Gin close to you and whispered to her ear "it's high but if we land carefully, we can get out of here."

She nodded. You tore off a piece of your shirt and wrapped it around your fist, then broke the window with it. They heard you. They were coming.

You jumped out of the window, Gin right behind you. You landed well, probably gonna have some bruises or something but that wasn't important. You immediately started to run away, but then you heard Gin screaming in pain.

You turned around, seeing her on the ground trying to get up, she probably hurt her leg when landing. These guys were standing in the window, aiming their weapons on both of you.

"(Y/N).. run!" She screamed so desperately.

"Fuck no. I'm not leaving you behind!" You ran to her. This whole moment it felt as if your mind was in a fog, as if it was just a dream.

You heard a shot, but in that exact same moment you pulled Gin away from the place she was in, saving her from getting hit.

Without hesitation you took her in your arms ans started running away with her.

You heard a few shots but these guys seem to really suck at it since they didn't strike you even once. You ran behind a wall, now out of reach for them.. at least for now.

You placed Gin to the ground gently, still supporting her weight a little.

"You.. saved me...?" She looked you in the eyes and you just realised that somehow she lost her mask during the fight, probably when jumping out of the window. She looked so beautiful without it. Of course you knew what she looked like, but she had it on most of the time so you rarely got to see her whole face.

You smiled at her. "We need to get out of here." You helped her walked to your car.

You stopped at the Port mafia's building. Gin was already about to get out of your car, but you held her hand. "Wait.."

She looked at you, a little confused, but gave you a space to talk. It was at the moment that you realised that you didn't even prepare for what to say.

"Hey.. about what happened before.. i am sorry. I really.."

She gave you a sad look. "Hey.. (Y/N).. I am sorry too. I overreacted and was mean for no reason.. it's alright if you want to keep your secrets of course."

"No Gin.. it's alright you were just worried.. there is something going on lately and.. I was so scared to tell you, I was so scared that it will sound stupid or you.. won't react well if I told you.." you didn't even know if what you're saying makes any sense, but you tried your best to explain what was going on in your mind.

"But Gin I can't hide this forever..."

She looked at you, confused.

,,I think i fell in love with you." You couldn't even look into her eyes saying this, just because of how scared you were.

But then.. you heard her chuckle. For a second you thought that no reaction could be worse, but when you looked back at her, she was smiling.

She pulled you closer and gave you a quick kiss on the lips. "Did you really suffer so much because of it?"

You didn't know how to answer. You didn't know what to think. But you felt so relieved.

"(Y/N).. I.. I feel the same. And I was really worried that you hate me or something."

You couldn't take this anymore, you pulled her into a hug, feeling how your eyes are starting to tear up.

Long time no see.. hey I may as well try to be more active but no promises.

Also I think I'm gonna rewrite some of the previous one shots bcs well- I made them a long time ago and they're really shitty written
