The next morning, Brian came downstairs to see a dramatic change in the pair. John was telling the group a story, presumably about the day they went missing, Peggy adding in details every so often and laughing along with everyone else, hand entwined with John's. After finishing his cereal, a hearty english breakfast, a cup of coffee and his newspaper, he looked at the two.
"Well it looks like you two have sorted out your differences." Brian said to the pair, looking very smug with themselves. Brian pulled the key out from his pocket, but as he reached for their wrists, he was interrupted by a very strange reaction from John.
"No Thanks."
