Your Happily Ever After Eternals

Part 1

When Prezioso started crying, Newt cradled him and whispered, his voice breaking, "It's okay, I'm here for you and I always will be." Prezioso stopped crying and soon fell asleep.

Newt looked at me, tears in his eyes, "I can barely look him in the eye, it's too painful." I hugged him.

"I know," was all I said.

-A week later-

We landed ashore on an island. We had repaired a ship on the beach by our old camp and sailed here, away from W.I.C.K.E.D. The memories of Fey dying still haunted us though. I could sometimes smell her in the wind, and it was always when I was near Newt. She always smelled like the ocean and flowers. I started stepping in with Prezioso to help Newt. Prezioso was the exact copy of Newt, just with Fey's eyes, expressions, and certain personality traits.

-5 days later-

We made it back to the Right Arm. We held Fey's funeral by the ocean. We had sent her body out on a raft into the ocean and my tribe tradition is to shout a fire arrow toward the boat. Her body glowed and then faded, which was unusual, while the raft just burned. After the ceremony, I realized that I had a letter from Winston that I haven't read yet.

Mom,

If you are reading this then that means that I have died. I know that it's hard right now but it's going to get better. When one of us was scared you stepped in and helped us through that fear. And when you think no one saw how hurt you were. I did! I love you, mom. I wish that you could see me in the afterlife after I died. I know it hurts you to see any of us hurting. Even your little brother Newt. But remember that Alby is there for you now. I want you to be you no one else, just you. I knew that when I saw you, you would get us out of that maze.

I know you try to protect us with all you got. But there are times that you won't be able to. Even if I had a mom before the maze. You were the mother of the glade forever and always. You are our mom no matter what anyone says. Live out your days as it's going to be the last. Live on for me and the others that have died. You're too important to everyone and we worry about you. Please be yourself more because I love seeing you happy. Even if you can't see me I can see you. I said this once but I say it again I love you, mom, and don't you forget it.

I want you to Live, Laugh, and Love for me. You have been thrown much more than me. So you deserve everything in the world. You even deserve all the happiness in the world as well. Continue to sing as I can see how happy it makes you. You have such a beautiful voice. It made us all happy to hear you sing. Promise me to carry on not just for me but for the others as well.

Once I finished reading I cried, dropping the letter. Alby saw me and came running over. He saw the letter and read it over. There were a couple of tears in his eyes as well. So we just sat there hugging one another.

-2 weeks later-

"Tigris, you said that you had some news for me?" Alby said.

"Yes I do, here," I said, handing him a box. He looked at me confused and fortunately we had a camera so I was recording.

"Oh, just open it," I said eagerly. He opened the box and he pulled out a shirt that said, 'world's best dad'. He was confused for a second then it hit him.

"I'm a... dad? I'm a dad!!!" He said with a lot of emotions crossing his face. He picked me up and spun me around. Then place a kiss on my stomach.

"What do you say if we break it to everyone else?" I asked and he nodded, "Let's do Newt first." Then we headed over to Newt's hut and knocked.
