Every teenager experiences embarrassment, confusion, or even just sassy popular girls that only bully you because they are trying to get away from their own sad miserable life.
My name is Cat Etc, my parents died when I was 4, and I live alone with my twin sister, Kitty
It might be weird that our names are based off of animals, but we aren't animals at all. We are very nice and we try our best to impress. But sometimes it's hard to impress. This whole story takes place during a rainy night. Me and my sister were doing puzzles. Kitty asked if I wanted to play chess next, but I had no idea how to play. I told her I never played before, and she smiled brightly and taught me how to play.
I have to admit, I like playing brain games, and me and kitty are pretty smart. In high school, we are getting straight As. Well, that's not true. We do have all As, but an F in algebra. Algebra is literally the stupidest thing to ever exist in mathematics, the teacher told us that math is useful because when we grow up math will be surrounded by us. We have to pay the bills and learn how money works, we have to learn time, all those stuff. But I strongly think we won't need algebra in our future, for example, I don't think we will have to solve an equation like this:
3x+4-5y
I'm sure we won't need it AT ALL, I'm telling you, letters don't belong in math. Only numbers and symbols belong in math. We are learning algebra for NO REASON. Only the nerds in our classroom love algebra, and they tell us and I quote, "all forms of math are a human's friends." And the equation sample I just showed you, that's what 6th grade or 7th graders do. But our school is just a little lazy. We didn't learn any pre-algebra in middle school. Thus, we don't know how to do it officially. Our teacher, or any teacher in our school basically, don't fully explain how to solve algebra. She gives us tests on stuff we are confused on, I rate my own school 0/10. But our grades are "ok", so what's the point of starting over at a new school? Plus, we have good friends at our school. But sometimes we encounter bullies, and not like boys who steal people's lunches. I'm talking about girls who are spoiled brats. And those girls team up and become an army of mean girls. After what I go through, I never want to see the 2004 film "mean girls" ever again. One time I even had nightmares about this girl, Nevaeh, who is one of the mean girls, and in my dream we were out by a rail road, and when a train came, she pushed me in front of the train. That's when I woke up scared, because for a split second I thought I died. But I knew it was just a dream, so I never worried about Nevaeh attempting to murder me. But I still wish the staff cared about a bully problem, because if they cared, like responsible adults, I would definitely waste my class time talking to them about what's going on. But I overheard a student telling the principal that one of the girls punched her 12 times, and she even bled. The principal didn't answer her, therefore exposing the fact that the principal didn't care. So I never bothered telling the staff anything.
Anyway, back to the setting
The storm was getting worse and RIGHT at when the power went out, we got an emergency alert
I'm sure you know the United States EAS alarm is the scariest thing to ever listen to, besides fire alarms, especially when they come on during the night, and your standing in the pitch black darkness.
The alarm went on on our phones, since our TVs were off. There is a slight difference between the TV EAS alarm and the mobile EAS alarm. On the TV, the alert's beeps have more quality. But on mobile, the beeps don't sound like beeps. So in my opinion, the TV EAS alarm is scarier. But enough about that. The alert said that there was a major tornado warning, and that we had 45 seconds to get in shelter and go in a closet or bathtub.
When there is a time when you have to hide because there is a natural disaster hitting your house, that's the scariest thing to ever experience in your life, because you never know if you will survive or not.
Robloxia has a lot of natural disasters, such as earthquakes and tornadoes. But we still live here because it really is a great place, and it's where a lot of people grow up.
Me and Kitty ran to our closet, and we both had our phones, because, if you spent so much hard work on getting to high levels on games, then you would understand why we wanted to keep our phones from being damaged by the falling ceiling. I told kitty how much I love her, since this could possibly be the last moment of our life.
We held each other's hands, and prayed.
