Dr. Angelica could hear the footsteps pounding behind her. She had stolen something, and her pursuers want it back.
Climbing up a ladder, she held the bundle closer to her chest and hopped onto the roof. She knew that taking this would destroy them but she needed it for her research.
"Angelica!" One of the men chasing her called from the ground, "give her back, this is your last chance"
The man ordered his subordinates to get their guns out but hold fire.
Angelica knew he was serious, she had stolen from his boss and all of them had incredible skills when it came to shooting.
She took off, knowing they could see her. A few seconds later, gunshots rang through the air. She felt a stinging pain on her cheek and knew she'd been shot.
Legs pumping with adrenaline, she leaped from building to building, leaving her pursuers behind.
The captain kept running trying to keep up with her, before realizing it was hopeless.
Cursing his luck, the captain called his boss to explain the situation while Angelica escaped into the night with her ex bosses child.
