HELLO, everybody!!! So, I decided to rewrite what I had already written instead of scrapping Traitor completely because I lived for the story line I had planned, but I didn't like the way it was written. It having been pre-writing classes, having weird pacing, and in the y/n format, (which oml don't even get me fucking started) everything was just wrong. So I decided to create an OC and rewrite it so it was more of a slow burn.
For purposes of the story, the following things will be changed about canon fact, and are also just things you should know.
- Tonks was born May 11, 1973. Her new birthday is May 11, 1961. Since the story begins in 1992, it makes the most sense to not have a child she would have birthed when she was 6 and Remus was 19. She is now one year younger than Remus, making Remus 31 and Tonks 30.
- I'm shooting for Adara to be an older girl of her class. So she is just barely younger if not the same age as most people the year above her, sort of like Hermione, who was born in 1979 when all the people in her year were born in 1980. So Adara was born October 23, 1978.
- Please do not ship family members. I know it's pretty self explanatory, but I've seen it before on fanfics, whenever a family member is mentioned, people like to flip out and I'm not for that Sweet Home Alabama lifestyle. (i.e., Draco will be mentioned. yeah.)
-Adara is white. VERY white. She has dark, CURLY hair. (curly is not wavy bitches, it is curly ass hair. RINGLETS BITCH RINGLETS), she is a mid-thick girl!!! (yes wider hips, thick thighs (save lives), bigger arms, cellulite, stretch marks all that jazz (bc us thick girl need representation))
-I'm going off canon from both the movies and the books. In my head, when a scene that's in the books isn't shown in the movies, it did happen, just off screen. And when in the movies a scene is depicted differently than in the book, I prefer to go with book-canon. So if things are different than you remember them in the movie, that's why.
- I didn't quite think it through, but this story has quite literally ever single trigger warning you can possible think of. PLEASE take care of yourself and your mental health. If there are any particular content issues you find can be triggering, this story probably isn't for you.
