Diary of a child with trust issues

to go back (chapter 2)

so today i did what i normally do but today something felt off. anty Rosa felt it to. sometimes i think that we have something that connects us. my mom said that i should go to bed and just sleep on it. so i will.

well right now i'm at school. i'm studying on my own or i was but then the teacher stepped out of the room and i'm worried. then the teacher comes back and tells us to close our books and go back home. the teacher pulled me aside and told me to stop at anty Rosa's house and bring her home with me. i rushed home and my mom took me and anty Rosa down to the basement and put in a code and took us to some sort of a bunker. Rosa looked like she knew what was going on so i asked. she sat me down and told me something that i will never forget. she told me that the people that live outside the Teryan always wanted to live in paradise but they ruin everything that they come to in their path. that's why there is a wall. anty Rosa was telling me that the people that live outside the Teryan never understood why we don't trust people. that the founders of Teryan wanted a paradise where no animals were killed, no trees were cut down and everyone was comfortably living in their surroundings. anty Rosa had told me before that not all people loved the outside world. some hated it so much- anty Rosa always stopped there. i have a feeling why but i never asked. one of the good things about the Teryan is that when someone passes away the people of the Teryan think that death is a reward for living a great life. when ever someone dies in the Teryan they record it in this big book that has when they were born when they died,  their  name and how they died. once i went to look at the book because you can its in the history house. when i looked i learned that only 2 people have ever killed themselves in the Teryan it was sad but lucky there were only 2. the only thing that confused me when i looked at the book was that there was no other information about the 2 people i don't know why but when ever anty Rosa told me about the people that hated the outside world and that something happend to them i always think about that. anty rosa stopped talking when my mom, brother, dad and some of my friends and their families came in. anty Rosa asked mom about something and she nodded yes. i wanted to know what was happening then all of those thoughts went away when I heard footsteps above us. by the way everyone else looked they had heard it too. we heard someone say "i want every room checked and cleaned out" then someone responded saying "what do we do if someone fights back?" the next thing said scared everyone to the bone "shoot them." anty Rosa seemed like she was going to cry. everyone was scared mom whispered to dad to close the door that was still open looking at the basement. dad pressed down on a lever and the doors started to close. the people come running down the stairs with what i think are guns. they run towards the doors and one of them shoots. the doors close and i hear a groan. someone got shot. it's mom. my mom is laying on the floor her leg beading out. dad raps his jacket around the woon and trys to stop the bleeding. nothing is helping. mom can't take the pain much longer. a few minutes pass of us all trying to help. mom finally  passes out and we all wonder the same thing. will she ever wake up?
