Suddenly a hand was waved Infront of him, an impatient Mabel staring at him.

"DIPPER!? Are you even listening to me?"

Dipper snapped out of his conversation with Bill, shifting his attention to Mabel unhappily. "What did you say?"

"I said that I'm going to chase you around with the water gun if you don't get up-"

"Okay okay!!"

Mabel scampered out of the room, peering around in the doorframe.

"You better be ready in ten! Or else..." Mabel said darkly. "No pressure!" She disappeared out of the room, leaving a stressed out Dipper to rot in the attic, his insides twisting around with anxiety as Bill explained the plan to the boy.

"

This is absolutely crazy..." Dipper muttered, standing in the bathroom as he looked at the mirror with distaste, his half demon form reflected across from him. He had almost had a heart attack as the reflection moved, it's eyes turning yellow, startling the boy despite knowing that it was just Bill.

"You don't even look half bad! Woah oh oh!" The mirror-Bill chirped as he snapped his fingers, blue fire forming in the palm of his hand. "This is a nice change!! I wonder how many poor meatsacks I can burn with your exposed magic!" Dipper bared his teeth, his sharp canines threateningly showcased as he spoke stiffly. "I can't believe I'm agreeing to this... The last time I let your Dorito ass into my body it didn't end very well." Dipper voice distorting with the grudge laced in his voice.

"Gotta admit, I'm only helping you because it's painful to watch you fail to harness your magic." Bill chuckled. Dipper rolled his eyes, sticking his hand out. "Let's just get this over with..." But to Dipper's surprise, Bill merely shook his finger in the reflection, a smirk on his face. "Nuh uh! You have to thank me first! Where would you be if you didn't have me?"

Dipper sighed, knowing that without Bill he would most likely be panicking as he slowly turned into a dream Demon with no way to keep the physical attributes at bay. And even though He hated to admit it, he had kind of grown on the Demon. It was almost as if having a friend...

"Woah! I thought you said you hated every fiber of my being!" Bill chirped, trying to ignore the fuzzy feeling that was in him. He enjoyed the boy's company too, but the dream Demon would never admit to that; he didn't want Alcor to think that he was going soft.

"You can read my thoughts!?" Dipper said with surprise. "Since when!?"

"Since now, because I'm in your reflection and possessing it. I couldn't do it before unless I became your shadow."

Dipper nodded, the fear that he had been reading his thoughts the entire time since Bill made an appearance fading away. "Just to be clear, after you posses me for the day, it should go away for today and few weeks?"

"That's the gist of it. Or at least the permanent version of it- sometimes with strong emotions the demon part might come through untill the emotion passes."

"Fun..." Dipper said sarcastically. "And how exactly does this even work?"

"I'll just make it disappear with my magic. Your magic isn't very surfaced yet, considering that the locket isn't fully broken, so I'll have to do it. And the longer I spend in your body, the longer the permanent demon attributes will be at bay. A day should be enough."
