CHAPTER 8

It was finally the night time.

Bindu,Asmit, Jai were having dinner. Jai gave sid a wide smile hiding from bindu which sid returned back.

Sid was wondering why was not avneet having her dinner with them.

After having dinner:

Bindu-Listen Siddharth, now you will have to clean the dishes and then you have your food kept on the kitchen. Also give some food from there to that girl. I am going to sleep and no disturbance should be done.
Sid nodded.

He went to the kitchen and found there was a little food left.
Sid-How can I divide this much food to 2 people... do they provides such less food to her? Idk her name.. but dont worry. I can sacrifice my food. I will give all of it to her.

Sid took a plate and gave all the food there.

Suddenly he heard footsteps.

He turned and saw it was avneet. He gave the plate to her.
Avu undertood that he is sacrificing.

Avu- I know how much I eat. You dont have to sacrifice your food.

Sid was shocked. After nirmal no one has talked to him such sweetly.

Avu took anoter plate and divided the food giving a bit more to sid.

Sid-B..but... you will eat... o..only th..that much?

Avu-Yes. And I saw how much you worked today. So you need the food.

She started eating hers. Sid was not eating still.

Avu-What happened?
Sid-Um... ac..actually.. how can I eat with u...mam..

Avu chuckled..
Avu-Mam? Which mam? Do I look like a mam? Just call me avneet.

Sid nodded and started eating his food.
Avu-Btw whats your name?
Sid-Siddharth Nigam...

The completed with their food.
Avu was about to wash the plates but sid didnt allowed her. Avneet left.

After a while;
She thought to sleep when she heard a knock in her door.

She opened it. And found it was sid.
Avu smiled a little.

Sid-Woh... m.mm....
Avu held his hand and took him inside. She passed him her bottle.

Avu-Drink it. And then tell me.

Sid dranked some water with shaky hands cause he was drinking water from a rich person's home. Although the bottle was not costly.

Sid-I am Sorry..
Avu-Why?
Sid-Be.. because ... today... today you got beaten... because...o..of me..

Avu- No siddharth, it was not your fault... and now I am used to it.

Sid-Means.. means they beats you everyday?

Avu fake smiled and nodded.

Sid-Th.then why do you stay with them?

Avu-Its a long story.... I was forced...

Sid- Umm.... if...if you wont mind... then... then I u can share it to me.

Avu was quiet.

Sid-I know I belong from a poor family and a rich girl cannot do friendship with a poor boy... but still I am telling you because trust me, if you share with me you will feel better.... I know I am asking more than how much I deserve... I am poor...and..

Avneet put her finger in his lips, which brought them much closer.

Avu-Siddharth, being poor does not means that you will curse on your destiny. See... whom am I to you? No one... absolutely no one... but you still thought about my feelings..
But despite of being rich and my relatives my uncle-aunty dont even love me...

Avu was about to say something more but They saw that the kitchen light was on. It was bindu who got up to see whether if sid did everything properly.

Avu and sid both gave a small smile and sid went to his own room.
