The classmates

The first day

(Alex's POV)
It was my first day at this school, the moment I walked into the class I felt everyone staring at me. It made me uncomfortable, "My name is Alex, I'm 16 years old and I like music." I introduced myself and the teacher told me to sit next to Jay, "Jay raise your hand please," and I saw a boy with glasses, brown eyes and black hair raise his hand. I sat down next to him, the teacher started talking. "Hey," I whispered to him but he ignored me. After class we had a small break, I sat down next to him again. "Leave me alone," he said as he texted someone on his phone, I was just trying to be nice. Then someone else from our class came to us, "Hey new boy! Don't worry about him, he's just a loser." I didn't listen to her that much and just looked at Jay. I saw his face go from mad to sad? He texted his friend "They're calling me a loser again, what should I do?" I felt bad for him and told him I'm not like the others, he didn't have to worry about me being bad. He just looked at me confused and gave me a hug, not that long after he started crying. The next bell already rang and we both picked our bags up. We walked to class together.

(Jay's POV)
I can't believe I just started crying in his arms! I just met him today, how can I trust him already? We sat down on our chairs again and I looked into his beautiful blue eyes. I started drawing stuff in my notebook. After class we finally had art class. I walked to art class with a little hurry cause it was my favourite subject. Alex ran after me "Wait! You forgot your pen!" I looked at him and grabbed my pen again. We walked to class together and he kept sitting next to me, something about him just made me feel a little safer. Throughout art class we talked alot and drew eachother. After class we finally had the big break. We sat down at a table together just like the first break, until Jessica came, the popular girl. She grabbed him and hugged him. "Hey baby~" she said, I could see he was uncomfortable. "Jessica leave him alone, you're making him uncomfortable" I said to defend him, she let him go and walked to me. She hit my stomach and walked away again.

(Alex's POV)
When she hit him I ran after her and kicked her kneecap, she fell to the floor. I walked back to Jay and he was already eating. I sat down next to him just staring at him, my parents forgot to give me lunch again. I just stared at him until he asked, "Did you forget your food?" I nodded yes. He gave me one sandwich, "Here, I always make one extra for if I'm still hungry." He said with the sweetest smile. We ate our food and walked to science class, he told me the teacher could sometimes make "weird compliments" I didn't think too much about it. Until I walked into the class, "Hey~ a new student? You're looking good," the teacher said as she fiddled with my hair. What. The. Fuck. I just sat down and the teacher started teaching, Jay saw that I was uncomfortable and put his arm around me while he whispered, "I told you."

(Jessica's POV)
Ugh! Jay is sitting with the new hottie. He keeps hugging him! It annoys me so much to see a loser like him with such a hottie. After  science class I walked up to Alex "Hey~" I said with a flirty tone. Ofcourse he'd fall for me now, Jay came to him and they just walked away! How dare he ignore me! Next lesson we have English class where we can sit wherever we want, I'll try everything to sit next to Alex. But ofcourse Jay sat down next to him, "Teacher! Alex asked to sit next to me before class and now Jay is sitting next to him!" I said but the teacher didn't care and I had to sit next to the nerd James again. UGH! I just want to sit with him.

(Alex's POV)
After English class me and Jay walked to our busstop, coincidence that we used the same bus to go to school. Even in the bus we sat next to eachother, he asked me if I was gonna buy a dorm. I just answered "I'll try," since I know I would need to pay it myself. I asked him how expensive they were and he just answered "Around 100 dollars, the teachers give discounts to new kids." I have 175 dollars so I could pay that, but what if I get in a dorm with Jessica? I didn't want to think too much about it, we both got off the same stop and walked different directions after. We said goodbye and walked home. When I got home my parents were arguing again. I just went to my room and put some music on.
