- Imagine: Y/N, Daryl and their little girl travel with the group, coming across a farm. It seems almost too good to be true. That is, until something goes wrong.

It has been a couple days since the CDC, and the group has never been more damaged. We not only lost many members of the group, but we were running on little to no supplies. It was getting to the point that we needed a miracle to come our way, and soon.

Daryl and I made it out of the outbreak with our five year old daughter y/n/d (daughter's name), and Daryl's brother Merle. The first couple of days were tough, but we then came across the small group at the quarry. We met Carol, her daughter Sophia and Carol's husband Ed. We also met Lori, Carl, Shane, T-Dog, Jacqui, Dale, Glenn, Jim, Andrea, Amy, Morales and his wife and children, along with the other members of the camp who didn't make it out alive. All that was left of our group was Rick and his family, Daryl, y/n/d and I, Andrea, T-Dog, Glenn, Shane, Carol and her daughter, and Dale. We were t much, but we somehow managed.

I was brought out of my thoughts by the RV making loud and unsettling noises.

"Dammit!" Dale yelled as he got up from his seat and went outside to see what was going on. Carol, Glenn and T-Dog followed soon after. I looked to y/n/d who looked back at me with worry in her eyes. I reassured her that everything would be fine and told her to stay put.

"What happened?" Rick asked Dale who was tinkering with the front of the RV.

"The radiator hose is shot, can't go much farther." We all stood there and went over the options of what to do next. But before anyone could object, Daryl was already going through the back of a truck.

"This is a graveyard." Lori spoke up.

"We need supplies, it's our best chance." I said trying to tell her otherwise, but she backed away and headed in the other direction, not wanting to be apart of it.

"Mommy?" I heard y/n/d call as she stood from the steps of the RV.

"Y/n/d what did I say?"

"Nah, she's fine, c'mere." Daryl said walking past me and picking y/n/d off of her feet. He was always so good with her, it made me happy that he liked being a father, that it wasn't a "burden." When I had first told him I was pregnant he was overall shocked, but days later he was all for it. Our world changed for the better when y/n/d came into our lives.

"Daddy, where are we going?" She asked whilst rubbing her eyes. Ever since the incident at the quarry, she was petrified to go back to sleep. I don't even remember the last time she slept.

"I don't know sweetheart, we'll get movin soon, don't worry." She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder, within seconds she was out like a light.

"I'm gonna go put her up." Daryl said whispering to me, trying not to wake her up. I nodded and he carried her to the back of the RV.

The rest of the day was spent gathering canned goods, clothes, water and other supplies that were necessary. The sun was setting and everyone was turning in for the night. I had just finished sorting the cans out when I felt someone's presence behind me. I didn't have to look to know it was Daryl, he wasn't exactly the quietest person.

"Long time no see." I said. He rested his chin on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my middle.

"Cmon, you've been sortin through stuff all day." He said in a low voice that always seemed to get me hooked.

"I'm not tired."

"Bullshit."

"I'm not." I said in a somewhat awake tone. With y/n/d staying up all night, I had to be the one to keep her company while Daryl would be out hunting or helping Rick. To be quite honest, we both could use the sleep.

Before I had time to say anything else, Daryl picked me up and carried me to his truck.

"Dammit Dixon put me down!" I said slightly laughing. He dropped me in the bed of his truck that had blankets and scattered clothes balled up to act as pillows all around.

"Happy?" He said with a smug smirk.

"Ass." I said back. He hopped in the back and lied down beside me. We stared at the sky for a while, occupied in our own thoughts. I then felt his hand entwine with mine. I looked up to meet his gaze and saw that he was already looking at me.

"God you're so beautiful." He said with a small smirk. I smiled at the comment and leaned in to give him a kiss, but stopped and patted him on the chest.

"Flattery won't get you anywhere." I said. He rolled his eyes and pulled me closer to him, then planted a kiss on my temple. The night was somewhat relaxing, just being in each others' arms. Being able to breathe and take it easy.
