Avery said as she was heading out the door grabbing her keys along the way.
" oh no, you don't. You've been lacking training at the naval academy ever since your father passed away!" her mom yelled from the kitchen walking to Avery to confront her.
Avery stood there as her mother gave her a death stare. " well guess what mom!? life sucks I can't walk in there without thinking about dad ok!? There I said it!"
She said as her eyes started to tear up.
Her mom looked at her daughter and hugged her while Avery cried into her shoulder . " oh dear, I get it it's tough but eventually, you have to get over it " she said as she strokes her hair between her fingers.
