Chapter 22: problems

Taylor was glad her mates accepted her and the issue with Haley was over. Not she had one other person to confront. Her dear father figure Marcel

She knew Lijah and Nik would never agree to allow her to meet with him so she snuck out. She knew he owned a warehouse across the river and that exactly where she went.

Walking around she saw Marcel in front of a group of humans giving a speech. Once he was done compelling everyone she began to clap while giving him a fake smile. She was pissed at him

"Tay what are you doing here!" To say he was surprised was an understatement and Taylor loved the slight fear that was in his eyes.

"You knew Davina and I were at the celebration and you put both of us in harms way" she snapped. She was not going to beat across the bush. "Davina could have died have you lost your mind" she knew her eyes changed showing her coyote side and she just didn't care anymore

"Look tay I knew she would be ok she's a harvest girl"

It was a lame excuse and they both knew it" she barely does magic right now. Marcel I care about you but if you ever do something so stupid again without thinking I will whoop your ass" with that she turned on her heels and left. She would have yelled at him more but she could see the guilt in his eyes plus her coyote side was fighting for control. She was mad at him but she didn't want him killed

It didn't take her long to return to the quarter. It was lively as always with tourist running around in awe. She hated how simple their lives were sometimes. They didn't have to worry about the supernatural. Witches are taught magic from young's ages and are expected to do everything in natures name

Vampires need blood to survive making them hated especially by witches which makes it hard to get day light rings.

Werewolves are cursed to breath their bones every full moon and also hate vampires and vice versa

It's like an ongoing war of hate and violence. It's never ending and all species are hunted my hunters. She hated how they talked ad treated one another. Most don't even know why they have another species only they they were raised into believing the other was bad.

Taylor hated it all. She had friends in each group yet they Ted one another. She couldn't handle all the hate me so she distant herself from everyone. She didn't want to be used tether she was mated to two originals who everyone basically hated

Drama just seems to follow she around and she didn't know if she liked or hated it yet. With that she walked back to the compound running right into Lijah "the werewolves are causing trouble, do you think you can talk to them "

"It's not a full moon" she mused walking past him

"Haley got the cure and gave it to them, she now leads themselves but she is having trouble in doing so" rolling her eyes she sat down beside Nik who have Lijah an annoyed look

"How is that my problem, she wanted her people, she got them now she gotta find a way to lead them" she didn't understand why she was even being brought up.

"It's not for Haley well being more the quarter. If the wolves get out of hand it can start a fight with the vampires and witches" Lijah explained hoping to get through to either his mate or brother who both look uninterested

Taylor of course didn't care and northerly did Nik "have a meet and try to hash it out or something. I could care less honestly but please just be careful " she wouldn't admit it out loud it she was jealous and afraid the Lijah would leave her for Haley. She knew it won't likely but she also knew the male had some feeling for the wolf at some point. As of right now the only thing she could do was wait and see how things ended
