𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 Kathy is known by the Hargreeves family to be insightful and patient, and someone who knows just when to give advice (most of the time). Even if many in the Sparrow Academy choose not to listen to her, Kathy is still there for each and every of the nine children whenever they need to talk or vent, and always seems to know what to do.

𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒 Timeline Vision. Kathy is able to see alternate timelines as well as the future, but she can't do anything about them except warn people about them. As the Hargreeves Secretary, she warns them of the dangers of each of their actions. They, however, never listen.

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 Kathy grew up in the United Kingdom with her three older brothers until she was a teenager. Up until that point, she'd lived a good life with understanding yet firm parents who weren't too strict and learned with her brothers when to bend their rules a bit and allow for leeway. Following her move to America, Kathy met Kali and Sloane at a local donut shop where she worked for extra cash. She got along well with the two and soon became best friends with Kali. Sir Reginald Hargreeves had heard of their friendship, and asked to meet Kathy. Upon their meeting, Sir Hargreeves offered to pay for her college should she study a major of his choosing and become his secretary. Kathy was delighted with the opportunity and took the chance, becoming Sir Hargreeves' apprentice, and later his Secretary.
Kathy has three older brothers she calls Tony, Kevin, and Tyler. Growing up, she and Tony were the best of friends, and Tony was the biggest supporter of his baby sister. While Kathy was in college and later working as Sir Hargreeves' secretary, her brothers ended up joining the commission together. There, all three of them died along the way. Kevin and Tyler for less than honorable reasons, but Tony, the last to go, died fighting to save a great historical figure. She would not know what happened to her brothers until Five Hargreeves and his siblings showed up.

Five Hargreeves knew what happened to each of Kathy's brothers, but he knew Tony personally. He told Kathy that Tony died for important reasons.
Luther reminds Kathy a lot of her brother Tony, and therefore she clings to him quite a bit, looking for someone to fill the space that Tony left when he joined the commission.
