~A Story Prompt?~

I came up with a plotline, similar to the soulmates AU.

Basically, everyone can and MUST only date the person who their zodiac sign is compatible with. Luckily, to avoid confusion, everyone is born with their zodiac's symbol on their wrist. Obviously, you don't have to date the FIRST person of that zodiac that you see, but they must fall into one of the "compatibles" (excluding aro/ace people, of course. Not everyone needs their soulmate!)

But what happens if two people who are NOT compatible fall in love?

For reference, the BEST compatibles are...

Aries = Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius

Taurus = Scorpio, Virgo, Capricorn

Cancer = Pisces, Scorpio, or Earth signs (Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus)

Leo = Aries, Sagittarius, and other Leos

Gemini = Aquarius, Libra, and Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

Virgo = Scorpio, Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer

Libra = Gemini, Aquarius, other Libras (same Air signs, basically)

Scorpio = Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces

Sagittarius = Aries, Leo, other Sagittarius (Sagittariuses? Saggitarii?)

Capricorn = Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Pisces

Aquarius = Aries, Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius

Pisces = Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn
