Ever since I heard about Elsewhere and it's mysterious lore, I had an idea for a crossover series with Set It Off and Twenty One Pilots. The two bands each look into an evil source -- which unbeknownst to them, is the same source, DEMA -- and their worlds collide. I was thinking it could be a five book series.
One: Blurryface
Based around the TOP album, Tyler and Josh seek to decode a series of strange notes Tyler finds one day. (They don't know that those are Clancy's notes, yet.) Their journey takes them deeper than they'd ever imagined it could, forcing the boys to face their fears once and for all.
Two: Midnight
Based around the SIO album, Cody also discovers a mysterious evil lurking around his town. He wants to investigate it any way possible -- but of course, his friends want to help, too.
Three: Trench
Worlds collide as Tyler, Josh, Cody, Maxx, Zach, and Dan all enter the world of Trench. They meet the secretive rebel alliance the Banditos, discover who Clancy is -- he's closer to home than they realized! -- and plot to take down DEMA. But are the Bishops one step ahead of them?
Four: Elsewhere
Elsewhere... Cody, Maxx, and Zach find themselves in a strange new universe. At first, it seems harmless -- just a bunch of brightly colored people. With eyeball attire. Nothing too dangerous, right? Wrong. Slowly, the boys realize that not everything is within their control -- not even their own actions.
Five: Scaled and Icy
Set It Off aren't the only ones in a new place. Tyler and Josh have also discovered a new world. It's simple, pastel, and almost calming. But there's still something sinister hanging around, something oddly familiar. Tyler and Josh will have to master their fears once again if they want to take down DEMA once and for all, and save their friends.
For this AU, the Bishops of DEMA and the Midnight Society are the same group, they just present themselves differently to Tyler/Josh versus Cody/Maxx/Zach after the five escape Trench (or think they do, anyways...)
