He couldn't let that slide.

"You made this bigger than it had to be Changbin." Chan stood, dusting his pants off before finally taking a good enough look at the younger.

"I'm...gonna go up to my room. Please leave me alone for a while." He turned and left, not giving the other a second look.

Chan was exhausted, the whole conversation taking his toll on him. He had come home in the greatest mood but now his high was obviously ruined.

He had a lot to think about and a few decisions to make but Chan had a massive headache and couldn't think about any of that right now.

Changbin stood in the hallway, kicking his feet in frustration. What was he supposed to do now? Was he supposed to apologize again ? Maybe just steer clear of him?

He didn't know but right now he wasn't sure he could take much more.

Changbin walked to his room door, slowly pushing it open to see Felix sitting up on the edge of the bed. "Oh, hey. I didn't know you were up."

Felix looked troubled, his arms wrapped around himself and a visible frown on his face. "Were you serious?" He lifted his eyes to Changbin, a disappointed but calm demeanor.

"What?..."

"Is it true?"

Changbin wasn't stupid, he pretty much knew what Felix was referring to. He just didn't think his life would fall apart so quickly like this. 

"I heard you. That entire conversation...you weren't exactly quiet about it." Felix laughed bitterly, he never would've thought this was something he'd have to deal with.

"Just tell me, Changbin."

The said male stood in his place, mouth opening and closing, trying to find the words to explain but he just couldn't. How could he break Felix's heart anymore than this?

Felix sprung up, taking small but menacing steps to Changbin. "Answer me." He looked closely at the male's face, feeling nothing but betrayal in a way.

He was there for Changbin when no one else was, he was there when Changbin was lonely, and he was the only one to love Changbin unconditionally...and this was how he was repaid ?

Changbin could do nothing but nod his head but that was enough for Felix to choke out a sob.

The younger would have sunk to his knees if it wasn't for Changbin's fast reaction. Felix gripped his shirt to catch his balance but once he did, he pushed the male away as hard as he could.

"I fucking love you and-and you do this?!" Changbin stood stiffly, he couldn't say anything. He was in the wrong here, he deserved it all.

"You can't even look at me..." Felix angrily swiped his hands over his face, trying his best to get rid of his tears. "After all I've done for you, really?"

Felix went through an array of emotions in just a few minutes. From being an absolute wreck and angered beyond belief, Felix switched to being devastated, confused from why he deserved this.

"And what if he would've said he loved you too? Huh?" Felix shoved him again, swallowing thickly before talking again. "What was your plan to do with me?"

Changbin couldn't answer that, he literally didn't even know himself. He hadn't thought that far and now felt like the biggest disappointment ever.

Felix grappled onto Changbin's shirt once again, fisting the material extremely hard. "P-Please tell me you were joking.." When the older looked down at him, he could see Felix's lip quivering, eyes red from rubbing them so hard.

"I'm sorry."

He didn't want to hear it anymore. Especially with the fact that Changbin wasn't really saying shit to help his own case.

Felix for a fact knew that he did nothing wrong here. He was the best that he could be and apparently Changbin just didn't see that. 

"You know what?"

Felix held his tears back as much as he could but eventually they just started to fall. He looked down, fumbling around with the ring on his finger. He slipped it off and threw it as hard as he could at Changbin.

"Take your stupid promise ring back."
