~+ As it all fades to black... +~

Start from the beginning

Suddenly, Dipper heard a rustle in the bushes behind him.

"Shh!" He hissed to Bill, whipping around.

He practically snarled as something jumped out, ready to defend himself-

"Grunkle Ford?" He exclaimed, his great uncle emerging from the bush, Dipper's expression softening.

"And Mabel!" His sister brightly yelped as she flopped out of the foliage, spitting out leaves.

"Dipper!" They both yelled, rushing over to him.

He was surprised when they both embraced him, but also winced as they touched a bruise of his side. "Ow."

They let go of him, bombarding Dipper with questions.

"It's been hours!?"

"Dipper what happened?!"

"If you don't have an excuse your'e grounded-! and what in the world went down here?"

"Woah- what's with that big bruise?"

"Wow. Your fake family really cares about you, huh?"

Bill, as politely as I can think this, please just shut up. Dipper thought aggressively, a headache begining to come on.

"Well, I got lost and..."

Dipper grimaced, stepping to the side to reveal the huge unconscious Hide Behind.

"Is this evidence enough?"

The creature growled behind him as it slowly waked up, it's hollow eyes staring straight into his soul. Dipper's eyes widened as he turned around slowly, meeting the creatures scared but furious gaze.

"Here we go again."

------------------------------------------------------------------

The creature gave a ungodly screech, it's spindly limbs trembling as the Hide Behind pushed itself up. It looked at Dipper with fear in it's eyes, growling as Ford shielded the boy with his arm, overlapping him.

It's eyes flickered with one thing for a terrifying moment, ready to pounce.

Revenge and loathing.

"Are you trying to taunt me boy!? Ñøbödy sees the Hide Behind and gets away with it!" It spoke with a hollow voice, distorted with anger.

"Oh no."

Bill what do we do!?

"I would tell you.... But-! You haven't been very nice to me, Pine Tree."

You tried to start an apocalypse! Dipper thought angrily.

"True. But still."

Bill, please! Dipper thought as the Hide Behind began to convulse, extra limbs sprouting out of it's skin, getting ready to tear the humans apart.

"Eh. I feel some weird emotion when I think about you dying, so I'll help ya. But you owe me one."

Fine!

Ford, Mabel, and Dipper all backed up, horrified by the creature Infront of them as it stopped mutating, a deep rumble issuing from the creature.

"Alright! Basically, you just need to stab a stick into the gash I made in it's head."

Dipper blinked with disbelief. Wha- a stick? A long piece of literal wood? To stop a monster?

"Yup."
