𝐏𝐥𝐨𝐭: A boy scout troop embarks on their annual island camping trip off of the coast of Canada. At the same time, an escaped lab test subject suffering from extreme hunger boats to the island to isolate himself from the rest of the world. Infection spreads faster than it can be contained and the morality of the group of unsupervised boys is put into question.

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: Horror, thriller, fiction.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: This book is best comparable to the novels Lord of the Flies by William Golding and Fantasticland by Mike Brockoven.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: I'm still in emotional shock from the ending of this book. Gorgeously written -- perhaps the most genuinely thrilling and shocking novel I have ever read. The consistency was pleasant and I enjoyed the in-depth glances into each character's life. Cutter truly knows how to engage his audience and create a world of horror that reaches far beyond those that the antagonist directly impacted.
