We arrived to the drive in and they where playing 16 candles which came out earlier this year
"So I heard your going to the dance with Johnny" tommy said as he adjusted in his seat to look at me
"Oh Uh yeah he asked me this morning" I told him while playing with my fingers nervously
"Does Ali know?" He asked
"No, I um I don't plan to tell her until Friday night"
"Think she'll be pissed"
"Not sure, I mean she's got a thing for that Daniel kid I think, so I don't see why she would be but then again I'm not sure"

The rest of the movie was quiet it finally ended and we went to get slurpies and Tommy took me home
"Lyric your lips are blue" Ali said laughing from the couch
"How bad"
"You look like you have blue lipstick on"
I ran to the mirror at the top of our stairs
"Oh god your not wrong my tounge too" I said while laughing
I went to shower and change when I got back to my room the phone rang
"Hello"
"How was ur little date" Johnny asked on the other end
"Boring and it wasn't a date"
"Sure it wasn't, come over"
"Why"
"Because I said"
"I'm tired tho"
"Just come over, it's not like your parents are gonna care"
"Johnny"
"Lyric"
"Whatever I'll be over in 5"
I walked back down stairs
"Where are you going" Ali asked as soon as my hand landed on the door
"For a walk"
"A walk? It's almost eleven" she said knowing i was lying
"Fine Johnnys"
"oh, well ok then" she said while walking back to her room
