Bill looked up, determination glinting in his eye. "It's a deal than." He outstretched his hand, preparing for the transformation into Dipper's mind. Finally, they would be back in Gravity Falls. The axolotl smiled, taking his hand.

"Deal."

Dipper's eyes fluttered open, his intelligent pupils adjusting to a sudden burst of light. Sounds of the woods peacefully immersed him, the soft pine needles he lay upon surprisingly comfortable. He knew something was amiss though, wasn't he just in his bed...? Dipper sat up gingerly, his eyes now adjusted.

The woods surrounded him, rays of sunlight beaming through the pines. Standing up, he dusted himself off, Confusion plastered onto his face. Hadn't he just gotten back to Gravity falls? This had to be a dream. He dragged his fingers against a large rock, sitting down on it gently. Deep in thought, he questioned if this was his mindscape, but ever since Bill, he had never been able to return here. What if his mindscape was connected with Gravity Falls?

Moving his hand, he felt his fingertips connect with something metal. He gently picked it up, his eyes traveling over a silver Pine Tree shaped locket, a baby blue glow inside of the grooves. The metal was smoother than baby skin, and it seemed to feel like it belonged in his hand. Curiosity plaguing his mind, He traced his thumb over a particularly big crack in it that was pulsing blue, radiating power. He looked at it with wonder, not noticing that his surroundings were fading to shades of grey. Only when sound began to distort, did he look up with fear, nearly falling off the rock with surprise, remembering the last time this happened.....

No.....

"Well , well well well well well well WELL!"

Dipper gasped, his heart drumming in his chest. His jaw dropped, preparing for the worst. Time seemed to slow for him as he whirled around, spotting the dreaded Bill Cipher. The locket slipped out of his numb hands as he took a quick step backwards in fear.

"No! Be careful with that-!"

Bill quickly teleported right by the plummeting locket, catching it carefully, stroking it like it was precious. His eye narrowed at Dipper, as he clutched it to his body. "You have to be gentle wi-"

"Stay back you demon!" Dipper yelped, backing away with wide eyes. He refused to believe this... "You're dead!"

"Correction, was." Bill chirped, still holding the locket. He laughed as Dipper grasped a stick, stomping down on the end to create a sharp edge. "Back off! This isn't real...." Holding out his stick defensively, Dipper prayed that the training with the manatours would pay off. Bill snapped his fingers, the twig splintering apart with the sound.

"I'm a being of pure power with no weaknesses, kid. You think a twig will stop me?" Dipper growled at Bill, kicking aside the pathetic remainings of the stick with a huff. "What do you even want from me!?" Bill raised his hand, about to answer before Dipper's mindscape began to fuzz and dissolve. "You'll see!" He mused, Gently pushing the locket into Dipper's hand, a twinge of some strange meatsack feeling tugging at him as Dipper flinched with fear. "Hide it-" Bill growled, his eye narrowed. "Wait-wha-Bill! you can't just-"

Dipper awoke with a gasp, sitting up in a flash. "Just do that-" He breathed heavily, the soft rays of the moon streaking through the triangular window, light creeping on the wooden floor boards.

He felt a cold object that seemed to be resting in his hand throbbing, like it had a heartbeat of it's own. He gently pulled his hand out from under the covers, the cool surface of his blanket providing little relaxation as his heart pounded in his ribs. The Pine Tree locket lay in his hand, pulsing the blue aura again. It felt so strong yet fragile, and Dipper suspected that it was breakable if it already had a crack. "No way....." He mused, his eyes widening. As he took out his other hand to cradle and inspect the object, he yelped. A message was scribbled on the palm of his hand, making his heart stop in it's tracks.

The dream was real!" -Bill

Dipper turned his attention to the second message that was scawled on his arm.

Look at the back of your hand....

Dipper slowly turned his free hand over, heart beating in anticipation.

Look-! A turkey!

Dipper rolled his eyes at the bird that was drawn on the back of his hand, amused and terrified at the same time. He looked over to his nightstand, groaning with exasperation as it read 12:32 AM. Finally, when he at least tried to get a good sleep schedule, some dumb dream had to ruin it. As he looked down at the locket, the true realization of what just happened sunk in.

Bill was back, and Dipper had no idea what they would try. Nor why they gave him a strange locket...
