Intermission: Database for the readers

Author's notes: okay so the reason why this part is up here is because I just want to clarify some things like the Engraved's abilities and such. While reading through the story I noticed that there are a few things that need explanation. This 'database' will include a few character bios and other key terms. Please keep in mind that there will be a few things not throughly explained because the plot hasn't reached that far yet.

Advent

Database 1

Gale Wolfe - A student from Signers Academy in San Francisco. He is initially targeted by the Keii but then saved by Kari Riel. Possess the Ruby ability of an Engraved and wields it in the form of a blade. Not much of a conversationalist but holds value for driftbikes.

Ruby ability - Enables the user to materialize his/her psych in the form of an object be it solid or not. Also grants the user the 'Exceed' capability. In this state, the user temporarily unlocks a certain strength exclusive to the user. In the case of Gale, he is able to focus his energy on a chosen area of his body. This state, however, drains more stamina from the user.

Kari Riel - An 18 year-old Engraved who wields the Sapphire ability in the form of a specialized gun. She was assigned to the same team as Gale, Krowe and Cole for a mission in Galroz prison. She has a warm personality but keeps her focus on her missions.

Sapphire ability - The user manipulates the psych as an illusion, but yet a weapon. (Will be explained more in later chapters)

Vermillion "Leon" Griever - a sort of 'Engraved' that holds the amethyst ability. He and Zach assisted Gale's team in rescuing Kiku from Galroz Prison. Unlike other Engraved, only one eye takes on the respective gem color. He is also skilled in swordplay

Amethyst ability - Telekenesis in many forms depending on the user. Leon is able to use it to control small to medium sized objects like swords, and can either use them as shields or fling them at opponents. 

Krowe Vox - A 25 year-old Engraved who possesses the Tiger's eye ability. Uses it to turn his arms into indestructible gauntlets. He has a friendly personality that adds to his leadership capabilities.

Cole Villers - A 'poker-faced' man who wields the topaz ability of an Engraved. He can take control of a few number of Keii and transform them by using a medium. To everyone's confusion, one of his known mediums is a black teddy bear.

Kiku Emilia - A bright and cheerful girl that uses the Peridot ability and wields it as a barrier that deflects most if not all attacks. 

Peridot ability - A classification of Engraved abilities that focuses on immense defensive power.

Keii - A mysterious race trademarked by red eyes and a dark appearance. Enemies of the moderators that once existed in the same place as the moderators.

Moderators - People who exist on a much higher realm than those in Grand Terra and oversee the actions of the Engraved who work for them. Kin acts as the leader of the Razenwald crew but is also a Moderator.
