"I'm not married," Cha Mi-jo corrected. Colleague would point to Kim Seon-woo and Mi-jo would have to add, "We're just friends."

The group discussed some more before finally calling it a day.

"Hey, Cha Mi-jo-ssi," Kim Seon-woo called out. "I'm heading to the practice range. You up for it?"

Cha Mi-jo couldn't help but feel excited. She hadn't had much time to go to the greens after the significant events in her life happened. Her best friend's death, failed engagement and then being mom were so life changing that she focused on those first.

But she missed playing.

Nodding, she agreed but called Dae-sik first. After telling him of her plans, she asked, "Would you mind watching over Hoon tonight?"

"Of course not," Dae-sik replied. "We're going to work on that lego set you hate so much."

"If you ever step on those things, don't go complaining to me," she rolled her eyes. "You'll manage without me for a bit?"

Dae-sik sighed. "I guess I have to live without kisses for a few hours."

Cha Mi-jo laughed. "I'll make it up to you when I get home."

Playing golf again was a blast.

Cha Mi-jo found that her instructor was still there so she reserved sessions in the coming days and made plans to visit a golf course soon. "I have a four-year old son. Is he too young to play or can we start training him now?"

"We can try. Is he interested?" the instructor asked.

"Oh, I have to check. He's been into drawing and running around," Mi-jo giggled. "I'll let you know."

Then, it was all business. They spent the next hour fixing her form and working on her putt. Before Cha Mi-jo knew it, it was 9pm. "Oh no! I missed dinner and Hoon is probably asleep now," she lamented.

Bidding Kim Seon-woo a quick goodbye, Cha Mi-jo rushed home. As expected, Hoon was in bed, with Dae-sik also asleep by his bedside because Hoon's arms were wrapped around his Appa.

On the table, Hoon left a note.

We missed you tonight, Eomma! But Appa says you're having loads of fun. Here's the best pasta in the world that Appa made. Eat well, Eomma! See you tomorrow!

However, exhaustion caught up to her and she woke up late the following day to an already empty house. Sending a message to Dae-sik, she asked, "Where are you?"

"Hi, Love! I dropped off Hoon then had to run to the NIS. I'm on my way up to the office. Will call you later. Last day of your conference, right?" he replied.

"Yes, last day. I'm sorry I missed dinner."

"No problem. Did you have fun with your friends?" he asked.

At the background, Mi-jo could hear different sounds so she could tell he was walking in an office already. "Yes, I did. It was nice to pick up clubs again," she admitted.

"Would you mind teaching me sometime?"

"Yes! Let's plan that."

Dae-sik bid her goodbye shortly after that. "I have to be in the meeting. I'll talk to you later, okay? See you at dinner. Hoon's been working on a project for school and he says he's placed a lot of flowers so you'll like it."

"Awwww... I'll see you at dinner!"

Luckily, the conference ended early. Since she didn't need to be in the clinic, Cha Mi-jo headed back to the practice range joined by Kim Seon-woo, who kept staring at her between his shots.
