A/N: I'm sorry for the delay! I fell asleep early yesterday because I've had such a long work day. But here it is! The end for this fic. =)

I don't know what to start next yet. Any thoughts? Barista JH or HCY/Writer MTG?

It was a Greek philosopher that said "change is the only constant in life."

Sometimes it because that's the natural course of life but sometimes you're forced to.

If it were up to Jin Ah, she would stay in her apartment building forever. She loved the area and the place held a lot of special memories for her. After all, she was living in this flat all those years ago when Jin-woo made that fateful call that happily ended with them being together. However, Chul-soo still kept popping up by her doorstep.

It didn't matter how many CCTV cameras Jin-woo pleaded her to set up, it was getting creepy. Jin-woo did not push her to do anything but always asked her to consider moving for her safety. She felt like she could take care of herself, but Jin-woo moved in because he couldn't sleep well in case anything happened to her. Then, one time Chul-soo showed up when Jin-woo was just leaving there almost was a confrontation and hurt Jin-woo.

It wasn't dangerous, but it was enough for Jin Ah to reconsider. So, she moved... into his apartment.

Things between them were progressing pretty well and they had been talking about marriage already so they decided to take the leap.

It was true that you never really know a person until you move in with them and it truly, truly tests you.

The longer they were together, they found out more and more things that were peculiar about the other. Jin Ah was put things in her closets and were neat enough but Jin-woo had his shirt color coded and his pants hang in a certain way.

Even his underwear drawer was extremely neat. Jin Ah had her drawers separated in white, black, nude and coloured ones; Jin-woo didn't have coloured ones but his stuff was ordered from white and then getting darker. One time, Jin Ah caught him trying to figure out which one of his boxers were darker because the darkest ones had to go to the end. Just to get a rise out of him, she gave him red and purple briefs and place them in odd spaces.

It annoyed the heck out of him.

Jin Ah tends to be quiet when she first wakes up and likes her breakfast quiet. Jin-woo, on the other hand, was unusually chatty in the morning because he feels like his mind is still fresh and had a better chance of remembering things she would tell him when his brain wasn't exhausted yet.

It annoyed the heck out of her.

Traits they found cute previously and now slowly getting on each other's nerves.

But when one of her friends asked Jin Ah whether that meant this was the end of the relationship, she recoiled and said, "Of course not! I like that man a lot. And he's still pretty cute."

When a friend of Jin-woo commented along the same lines, "That's boring stuff, man. Don't you miss the chase of a new relationship?"

Jin-woo shrugged. "That's fun, sure. But if you think keeping a woman like Jin Ah interested in me is boring stuff, you're so wrong. It's the most beautifully challenging thing I've ever faced and I plan on protecting us."

Yes, things changed.

The heart skipping a beat when they were first together was no longer there. They no longer felt like they wanted to jump each other in bed whenever they were alone.

But, as the years went by, they found that choosing a good person was a wise choice for a partner and they liked each version of the other that was unravelled from one year to the next. And they fell in love with each other over and over again.

She stood by the door jamb and watched as he prepared their breakfast. "Why are you up already? Come back to bed!" she begged.

"Sweetheart, I'm starving. Aren't you? We only had a light dinner last night," he complained.

Approaching him, she gave him a back hug and basked in the warmth he exuded. "Can't help it. You look hot." She leaned in for a kiss but just as she deepened it, her stomach growled. Laughing, she stared up at him and said, "I guess I am hungry."

Taking a seat opposite him on the table, she looked at her husband who took care of dinner, made love to her as she wanted the night before and was now scooping portions of eggs, fruits and bread onto her plate. "I'm so glad fate brought us together," she whispered.

Looking up to meet her gaze, he kissed her nose gently. "I'm more thankful that you choose to be with me even after all this time." They shared a sweet kiss that held so much promise before Jin-woo reminded her again to eat. Then, he asked, "What do you want to do today?"

"I want to try another position in bed," she replied.

Jin-woo's eyes widened. "Again?"

Jin Ah nodded. "Yup! You were gone for two weeks!"

Jin-woo seemed like he was going to put up a protest but eventually smirked and said, "Maybe I should take trips more often then."

It didn't take long for them to be joined again. As they neared each other's peak, Jin Ah opened her palm, which was quickly joined and grasped by Jin-woo's much larger hand. She screamed when she came, while he groaned out.

Facing each other in bed, she kissed his nose. Still holding his hand, she said, "Remember that time when I was sad and didn't feel complete because there were spaces between my fingers?" She had to jog his memory a bit before he finally remembered. "You told me I was complete without anyone and it was up to me to let someone in but I was still complete nevertheless."

Jin-woo smiled. "I'm amazed I could be that profound."

She rolled her eyes but looked at their entwined hands. "I'm glad I made space for you."

Jin-woo kissed her. "Thank you for letting me in."

Jin Ah smiled. "You're stuck with me forever."

"Good," Jin-woo said.

"Please don't ever learn to fix your car," she pleaded in a rare moment of vulnerability.

Pulling her close, he whispered, "Never."
