A/n: Alright boys back again back again and I know it's been a minute alright shut up I been working on other shit now I don't know about y'all but i'm ready to hear the devil's cry ya know what I'm saying, few quick things I decided to skip the fight with Beowulf and greyon for multiple reasons, one writing three boss fights in a row seems tedious, two I thought greyon was kinda of a lame fight, plus I really wanna get onto dmc1 I got plans for dmc 2 and 4 boys also I changed up I how I usually write for this chapter cause I feel it might be easier for y'all to read if I separate actions from words let me now if it is now sit back and enjoy

Y/n and Diane layed on the ground beaten by Beowulf after he ran away from having his other eye taken Bayonetta of the other hand was doing her makeup

Y/n groaned and opened the door to the next chamber with Diane following close behind, And from there they ran into your simple run of the mill demons, a fuckin horse that stops time and a bunch of other bullshit, Like bayonetta trying to strip Y/n using witch time

Y/n groaned as he thought back to one year ago when Vermila first reappeared

Y/n walked along the dark alleys of Redgrave city looking for demons to kill or strippers to have fun with he honestly didn't care which it was he just wanted something to do instead of remodeling the run down shop he and Diane bought to run they're devil hunting business, Altough they haven't even thought of a name for the shop yet hell they don't even have any furniture at that place yet, The only thing they do have there are empty pizza boxes and beer cans, Y/n soon exited the alley and walked onto the main street where he saw a hooded figure standing under a street lamp

Y/n hummed and took Defiance off his back

Y/n taunted but his demeanor change when he saw a katana he was all too familiar with the

Y/n was shocked seeing his late uncle's katana the one he passed down to his other childhood friend Vermila

The hooded figure responded by unsheathing Yamato and pointed it at Y/n

Y/n: I'm taking that back even I have to cut your arm off to get it

Y/n rushed the hooded person and they clashed swords at high speeds eventually Y/n pulled out one of his guns but the hooded person countered with blue ethereal swords, soon Y/n ended up getting a shot off and it grazed the hooded person's cheek and made her hood fly off but this wasn't just any hooded woman it was "Vermila?" Y/n slowly and hesitantly placed his hand in her face and stroked her cheek
