Once again Kita woke up without you by his side, but you weren't gone for too long. You walked into the room holding a tray.

"Morning Kita! Hope you're hungry!"

You unfolded the legs of the tray and placed it over his lap, helping him sit up.

"Breakfast in bed?"

"Yeah! Breakfast in bed is always awesome!"

He looked down at the tray, seeing pancakes, along with a plate of sunny side eggs with bacon forming a smile.

"It's a western styled breakfast! Look the eggs are smiling at you!"

You shuffled around his room, getting a change of clothes for him,

"Whenever you're ready, come meet me in the living room,"

He wordlessly nodded and chowed down on your breakfast, which he had to admit was amazing.

The quiet was nice, no annoying twins to take care of, time to himself, and time with you. He even got to finish the book he was reading!

A few hours later he came to you in the outfit you picked out.

"Are you ready to go?"

He hummed in response, prompting you to stand up and get a basket from the other room.

"What's in the basket?"

You put a finer to your lips and grinned,
"Secret!"

The two of you walked out, and what Kita didn't expect was to see one of those two seater bikes.

"Where did you get something like this?"

You got on the front seat,
"While I was sightseeing yesterday I saw this bike rental place, and this morning I thought it would be neat!"

He hesitantly got on the back seat,

"You don't even need to pedal if you're in the backseat! Don't worry Kita, me and my legs will take care of this for you!"

You hadn't gone two minutes without Kita having to help you pedal. Your stamina could only sustain a one person bike.

"IM SORRY KITAAAAAA"

He chuckled,
"It's alright, I needed to use my legs anyway,"

After much deliberation, you made it to a beautiful lake, which seemed to be hidden away from the outside world.

You put your basket down on a table under a tree, and took off your shoes, heading into the shallow part of the lake.

"I found this place yesterday too, there's a lot of cool stuff in the world, you just gotta venture off the beaten path,"

He took off his shoes as well, inching closer to the water, but hesitating to go in.

You held your hand out for him, which he gladly accepted, dipping his toes into the refreshing lake.

Hand in hand, the two of you walked around the lake, stopping every now and then to look at a cool rock, or a pretty bird in the distance.

The rocks underneath your feet were smooth and round, and it almost felt like you were getting a massage. But some of the rocks were slippery, and Kita found out the hard way.

He unassumingly stepped on a slippery rock, falling and grabbing onto you for dear life.

The two of you were stuck in that position for just a moment, and then the both of you crashed into the water.

You got up quickly, trying to make sure Kita was okay,

"KITA! ARE YOU-"

You were cut off by the sound of laughter. Kita was laughing like a child, a laugh that you couldn't help but join in on.

The two of you got up and walked to the table under the tree, looking like wet smiling idiots.

Laughter couldn't stop you from feeling cold though, the slightest breeze on your damp clothes sent shivers down both of your spines.

You pulled a big sweater from your basket, handing it over to Kita along with a towel.

"Here, you change into this, I don't want you getting sick,"

He quickly dried himself off and put the sweater on, noticing that he had seen you wearing it before.

"What about you? Wont you get sick?"

You shuffled around your basket, pulling out a shawl. You took your wet shirt off, which Kita took a mental screenshot of, and replaced it with the shawl.

"See? All better! Now let's eat I'm STARVING!"

You used some hand sanitizer before passing some to Kita, and then took out some food from your basket.

The food consisted of sandwiches, orange juice, and cupcakes.

After eating half his sandwich, he couldn't help but ask,
"When did you have the time to set this all up?"

You looked away nervously,
"This morning after I gave you breakfast!"

You weren't lying about that, but you couldn't tell him you got up SUPER early to set this all up! You didn't want to worry him.

The food was finished, and the two of you were ready to go back home.

The ride back was filled with laughter and smiles, and when you got back you went to take a shower, with Kita going after you did.

"Well Kita, what do you want to do now?"

There wasn't too much he wanted to do at this point, everything so far had been perfect.

"Well, there's a book I wanted to start reading..."

"Great! We can do that! I also have a book I want to read,"

Each of you laid down on your sleeping territories, reading your books in comfortable silence.

It didn't matter if you weren't talking, having each other's company was enough.

Soon you ate your dinner, courtesy of Kita's grandmother, and went back to resume reading.

Kita decided to be bold, laying his head on your stomach as he read.

He expected you to say something, but you only smiled and ran your fingers through his hair, making him relax to a degree he didn't know possible.

In fact, he was so relaxed that he fell asleep right there, snoring away on your stomach, using it like a pillow.

You giggled, and positioned him in a way that'd be more comfortable for him in the long run. You scooted close to him, laying on your side.

You wrapped your arms around him, and went to sleep.

"Sweet dreams Kita,"
