Prologue

Ichika POV

Darkness

And More Darkness

That is the only thing i could see, from the day i was born, because of that i don't even know if I Died, if I'am Alive or just simple Sleeping, I couldn't truly see the difference

With the only thing that made me know I'am alive is with Music and the Sounds of Everything going on, but that made me think, when we die, do we relived our memories? Or just relived the joyful memories

If it's the latter, then I would not be able to see, but more so hear

Of course of this, My other Senses are Enhanced, to compensate from the lack of sight, with my Hearing being the one that is enhanced the most

Of course, because of this, I was lonely and afraid since I would never be able to see the faces of the people I loved, and I wouldn't be able to see the things that they would see

But In that dark world, I was able to make an Imaginary friend, and I named her Mithra

Mithra is quite strange really, since in my mind, she was able to bring in books and comics such, which is strange, since sure I know of such things from my Brothers, who liked reading them, and even told me stories of such comics

With that Mithra would then bring me comics from my mind, and even read them, because of that I loved the character known as Daredevil, also known as Matt Murdock

Simple because he and I were the same, we can't truly see, and seeing him be able to see by essentially Echolocation

Mithra seeing that, was somehow able to persuade me to do the same thing as Daredevil's training, of course I agreed out of doing something out of my life, and I did do it, and achieved it, making be able to have Echolocation as the same as Daredevil

Because of that, I was eternally grateful for Mithra and Daredevil, for granting me such privilege, of course I still couldn't see Colors, and that my ability to see would turn off, when I'am under water, and that my senses would overload and turn off my ability to see, if there's too much noise

Of course such noise did overjoyed my family, but they still were far too overprotective of me, which I did appreciate

But because of that Experience, I was curious on what I can do, so I started to reach a bunch of Comics and Mangas, to see and read such stories, and the thing that I like were stories that is closed to Realistic as possible, and seeing that Comics and Mangas are mostly not realistic, I wasn't able to copy such thing

Of course there's some that I was able to copy though

Which cause me to question my own existence, and even questioned my Imaginary Friend who has helped me, but I decided to stopped it, since she did helped me a lot, so I just decided to not say anything to everyone else

With my ability to somewhat see, I was able to enjoy my life, have friends, go to school, hang out with others and meet new people

And because of my own Ability to somewhat copy something, relatively realistic, I was able to master some Martial Arts as well, and even create my own Mindscape, which I formed into a Library, filled with every knowledge I know, or seen a first glance, and in this Mindscape, I hang out with my Imaginary Friend

But that happy life, came to an end, when I was Invited to Prom by my classmate, a boy named Eric Clover

" Ichika!! Please will you be my date in Prom? " Hearing this, I was speechless, but because of my tight schedule, I needed to decline him

" S-Sorry Eric!! But I can't, since I'am not going to Prom, since my Schedule is tight right now, so sorry " Hearing my reply and apology, Eric just looked at me, like I just shattered his heart into a million pieces

Which confused me, since I only turned down his Invitation though?

Thinking about that, Mithra was laughing in my mind, which further drove me into confusion

" Is-Is that so.. Well sorry for acquiring a piece of your time then " He said sadly at me, which I only nodded

" It's alright, since you didn't know after all " With a waved, we then separated

When I turned into a corner, I was stopped by a my other classmate, a girl named Rebecca Rose, and she was looking at me darkly, which I was surprised by, since Rebecca was always this joyful girl, who would always smile brightly

" You.. You!... You even gained his Loved!!! " She yelled at me, which further confused me, and made me afraid, which is shown when I backed away a little " Your Beautiful to the point that every Boy in School, would dote on you and loved you!! And because of your FAKE Personality, you gained every girls friendship! "

She continued to yell at me, which made me fear her, and was thinking of just running away, and is made apparent when Mithra was also telling me to run away as well

" You fooled everyone!! Even Eric! To the point he fell in loved with you!! Oh hahahaha!! But you can't fool me! I will reveal the truth! That you just wanted everyone's attention, like the attention seeker you are!! " With that she pulled out something, and before I know it, I heard a gun shot

*BANG!!*

Hearing the sound, My vision blurred since the sound was far too strong for my ears, but after a few seconds, I then felt something extremely painful to besides my heart, with that I looked down and saw lots of blood was coming out of a wound, and when I looked up and saw Rebecca was smiling with a craze smile with her eyes somehow glowing red, with a gun in her right hand pointing at me, with smoke coming out of the gun barrel

With that I feel back, with my hearing slowly going away, since the world I formed out of my own ears was slowly fading away, with me also not hearing Rebecca's words, but despite my hearing was slowly going away, I was able to hear Mithra's words clearly

" I shall wait for you in your next life, Ichika "

With that, I was engulf in the same Darkness that I escaped all those year ago

It felt like I was sleeping once more

Note: Sorry for the short chapter, but i will say this, this is the Prologue so that the next chapter would be a lot longer than 1125 words

Note: I know, achieving Daredevil's power is impossible, for ordinary people, but the reason why i wrote it like that, is to set a difference between Ichika and everyone else. Ichika is able to do anything as long as she seen it once, and how she was able to achieve Echolocation, I would reveal it in the future chapters
